Rigo vs Mijares isn't a bad fight at all. Mijares has had 10 fights at 122 throughout his career and he won them all, I think it's his natural weight. Rigo better not take him lightly if the fight gets made.

Ramos skipped the contender stage, went straight from underwhelming prospect to champ, while losing every minute of every round to the 0 defense Japanese champ. His effort vs Rigo was pathetic (compare WV vs Donaire), but not unexpected, I've seen him run from fringe Mexicans on Shobox. If you've seen his last bout couple of months ago, it'd be clear why WV > Ramos.

I've seen Marroquin more than once, he was considered a good (not blue chip) prospect until losing to Leal, which I've also seen. Arce >>> Leal.

There's no doubt. He literally gave up the belt without a fight. At least WV2 would've made Rigo work for it.

Dude, WV is the opposite of a cherrypicker. He went for his first title with no amateur career and less than 20 pro fights, as a Cuban you should appreciate. After losing in an excellent fight to Arce, he signed right up for a career ending KO loss to Donaire. And Rafa is no cherrypick, he gave Juanma all he could handle at 126, when Juanma was undefeated and feared. You better believe Rafa still KOs Casey, Kennedy and Ramos (if he can catch him).

Please answer just this one question: Do you believe Rigondeaux can tell Arum he wants to fight Donaire, Nishioka, or any other top name at 122, and get the fight simply because he asked?

I think Rigondeaux can exert more pressure on Arum to fight any 122 pounder he wants (except Nonito.) Especially with his contract being over and up for renegotiation.

I believe they are the best opponents that would accept a fight with Rigondeaux. Plus, it's not up to Rigo who he fights. He called out everyone and TopRank didn't make any of them happen.

Rigondeaux isn't fighting the toughest competition but he is doing what he is supposed to do with them. Getting them out of there. A lot of people don't give Ramos credit but I do. I don't see Donaire KO'ing Ramos.

I've seen an excerpt of an interview where Arum has his doubts about whether Donaire would be able to beat Rigo/Juanma/Gamboa/Salido. This is before Gamboa left TR. Remember the way TR does match-making, they match up their stars against opposition that have the best risk:reward ratio, and if it's an in-house fight, even better.
