    Fox supposedly paid the UFC 100 million for a 7 year deal. They'd probably have more success marketing female mma because it's more likely to appeal to the straight male demographic.

        I don't think it helped that it aired at 5pm on the west coast on a summer Saturday...it's to nice to be indoors at that time here.

            In So-Cal it was foggy and even rained a little bit on Saturday. No one was going out, lol.

                UFC On FOX 1: 5.7 million viewers

                UFC On FOX 4: 2.13 million (overnight estimate)
                What?? Chavez vs Rubio had 1.9 Million viewers on HBO.. Imagine if they had boxing fights like that on FOX.. More than 15 million viewers for sure..

                    UFC just isn't my thing.

                    I ain't hatin'...more power to them for getting a fan base and making $$$ but to me it's just not very entertaining.

                                    Yeah probably. I forget just how much the weather changes when going over the Conejo Grade. Oxnard has all kinds of fields and it's pretty much cloudy year round. Never seen fog or rain in the summer though. That was weird.
