i didnt watch cause as soon as i tuned in , i became more interested in reading the dictionary ,i fell asleep and now i come to realize that america was disgusted with this ufc event altogether

ill never get why the two fights are compared. they offer very very different things to different ppl. ive watch ufc for quite some time. but to me, it gets repetitive and theres little to no continuity with the rankings etc. but some of their fighters are simply amazing. dana white is an ass tho.

Everyone laughed at how bad the ratings were last time, well they just got worse. Olympics werent even airing on the west coast.

I had a feeling that UFC buzz would begin to fizzle around the time Brock beat captain America. too many fights and not enough time to let fights marinate. I think that they gave too many fights up too early. not to mention the injuries this year. I still think its a legit sport that would be more compelling if they had bigger gloves. those tiny gloves make it way too easy for anyone to catch someone. once these fighters just start wrestling because its safest way not to get KOd then UFC is gonna be in big trouble.

It took a freakshow like Toney vs. Couture to get me to tune in. I hope the decline in the UFC and the huge interest Floyd and Manny are generating translates to increased popularity of boxing.
