canelo needs to fight someone. idc if its cotto, lara, kirkland. he needs to fight someone before talking about hes ready for a floyd fight. its a worthless fight rite now. i have seen absolutely nothing that even suggests canelo can win 1 round against floyd. im not even sure he beats cotto.

So I say if anything the Ghost deserves the shot at Floyd over ginger, he comes on to say the Ghost didn't deserve his shot at Aydin,lol.

Then he turns around & called the Ghost fighting a man 2 weight classes above him for the #1 spot the same as ginger beating absolutely no 1 in his weight class for a shot a Cotto or Floyd,lol!!

GBP is protecting Canelo to a degree. But if he gets a floyd fight, having not beaten any real 154 lber, thats just as bad as Guerrero getting to fight in an eliminator at 147, in his 1st fight at the weight, after being off a year. If its ok for Guerrero to fight Aydin then its ok for Canelo to fight floyd.

Now as far as who earned a floyd fight more, I'd again argue Guerrero "earning" a floyd fight at 147 isn't any worse than Canelo "earning" a floyd fight at 154. Yes Guerrero beat the #1 contender jumping up 2 weight classes.

But he doesn't get the chance to do that if he isnt with GBP.

I think the one skipping the problem here is you. You're saying Guerrero didn't deserve a shot at the #1 contender (Aydin) cause he hasn't done junk at 147 correct? Well, you're right but if nobody wanted to fight the guy or GBP paid whoever to move out the way so Guerrero can fight him and take the risk, what's wrong with that? Again, that's what promoters do. Also, you can't compare a shot at Aydin to a shot at Floyd. It's not the same magnitude or as rewarding. What has Canelo done at 154? Better yet, name me one top 10 guy at 154 Canelo has faced. GBP is avoiding Canelo facing ANY of the top 10 in his division cause they don't wanna risk him losing and losing that shot at Floyd/Cotto. Now if you ask me, that's pretty sad that they dont have confidence in his own guy.

Floyd's only option at this point is Canelo. So I don't see why people are opposing this fight. Khan is out in the list.

Expect Cotto to get robbed if Canelo goes the distance with him to build up the fight with Floyd. If I was Cotto and I was running the chance of getting robbed Id make sure this was the last fight of my career.

Why would he be taken seriously to Floyd fans? Cotto is coming off a loss and was dominated. They seem to be the biggest critics for people fighting guys off losses. Top it off it's funny cause Floyd has fought people coming off losses too.

Not true, all Floyd opponents are prime coming of career defining wins, right?? Just look at Khan, he was the best fighter in the world at 140 & 147 & he was Floyd's toughest challenge for december..................oh, wait.....................

Yea, he either doesn't get it or is simply trying to avoid it. Guerrero sacrificed himself to try and get a fight vs Floyd while Canelo is the one sacrificing his opponents by blowing them up.

You just can't compare a fight vs Aydin to a fight vs Floyd without doing JACK ****. To tell you the truth, Canelo doesn't even need that belt to get a fight with Floyd or Cotto. People will still pay to watch him with belt or no belt. The evidence is there. The guy is making almost 2M viewers on HBO fighting absolutely no one of note.
