But what am trying to say, is that you'll can argue all you want, whose more deserving @ shot @ Mayweather, but what really matters is what Mayweather thinks He knows that Canelo bring more money to the table(PPV wise) only bihind Pacman & Cotto so at the end of the day he will pick canelo for next May 5th over any other fighter out there.
Mayweather said it himself I'm out here for the greatest pay days, Canelo is one of the few that can provide that.

If Canelo fights and beats Cotto in December, I'm all for Floyd-Canleo May 2013.

because it will be easy work for mayweather. plus goldenboy can't afford for canelo to take a loss before chavez jr. goldy and top stank are in a war for the mexican fan base and money. if martinez spanks chavez then goldy will feel much better in making canelo vs mayweather.

Maybe he's ready, we haven't seen him in with a real 154 pounder, not even a 147 pound contender. That's what's wrong with the way they brought up Canelo, he hasn't been tested, by choice, and we still don't know what he is. Alvarez is an overrated young fighter as usual. Who the **** has he beat that rings a bell? He's beat a bunch of old ass fighters and no names. He'd be lucky to be able to fight Cotto but that would generate interest.

I havent been impressed in any of his fights.

Why would he be taken seriously to Floyd fans? Cotto is coming off a loss and was dominated. They seem to be the biggest critics for people fighting guys off losses. Top it off it's funny cause Floyd has fought people coming off losses too.
