So I say if anything the Ghost deserves the shot at Floyd over ginger, he comes on to say the Ghost didn't deserve his shot at Aydin,lol.

Then he turns around & called the Ghost fighting a man 2 weight classes above him for the #1 spot the same as ginger beating absolutely no 1 in his weight class for a shot a Cotto or Floyd,lol!!

Bush, they both got gifts. Your essentially *****ing about Canelo's "gift"-a floyd fight at 154 where he is only fighting for money- is worse than Guerrero's gift- an eliminator at 147, a weight he never fought, after a year layoff.

Canelo did as much to earn a floyd shot as Guerrero did the Aydin fight.

If Canelo beat Cotto, he should get a Floyd fight. Or if he had a couple wins over guys like Lara, Molina, Vanes, Trout, or Kirkland, he should get a Floyd fight.

If Guerrero gets a couple wins over guys like Alexander, Malignaggi, Maidana, Berto, or others, he should get a Floyd fight.

GBP is protecting Canelo to a degree. But if he gets a floyd fight, having not beaten any real 154 lber, thats just as bad as Guerrero getting to fight in an eliminator at 147, in his 1st fight at the weight, after being off a year. If its ok for Guerrero to fight Aydin then its ok for Canelo to fight floyd.

Now as far as who earned a floyd fight more, I'd again argue Guerrero "earning" a floyd fight at 147 isn't any worse than Canelo "earning" a floyd fight at 154. Yes Guerrero beat the #1 contender jumping up 2 weight classes.

But he doesn't get the chance to do that if he isnt with GBP.

It's not the same. The Ghost fighting in a title eliminator is not the same as ginger never fighting anyone in his weightclass except for Floyd, (if he gets the call).

The Ghost actually beat a real #1 ranked contender, next in line for the title shot. Meanwhile ginger has beaten absolutely no 154lb ranked fighter in his weight class, even though he's a 4 time defending champion.

But i do agree that the Ghost got the fight being promoted by 1 of the 2 most powerful promoters. But he still fought a real fighter to become mandatory. While ginger has yet to fight anyone at 154.

To me, he doesn't deserve a Cotto fight really, but I still would love to see it. He should have to get a win over someone like Lara, Vanes, Molina, Trout, or Kirkland to "Deserve" the Cotto fight. But if he gets that fight anyway, I'll still love to see it.

If he beats Cotto, Floyd-Canelo becomes a big fight to me, especially if he does to convincingly and handily. That's a very big IF though.

Canelo vs Cotto is the fight that should be next. Cotto has enough left to win and it will measure if Canelo is the real thing.

But in the end talk is cheap, until he is not in the ring with some one notable he won't get the serious recognition. He was heading in the right direction but on circumstances out of there control the couldn't secure a solid name
