      1. Of course it's a different magnitude-Canelo is a top star in the sport and Guerrero is a 2nd tier star.

      2. Here's whats wrong. WHen GBP does "what promoters do" for Guerrero, well its no big deal because its only AYdin according to you. But when they do "what promoters do" at the next level with Canelo, then there is something wrong. That is a double standard.

If you feel promoter manipulation, no matter what form it takes,is wrong, then its wrong at EVERY level, top level, the 2nd tier, champions and contenders.
I meant it's a different magnitude between Aydin and Floyd. IMO to fight Floyd you have to pay your dues. And not just Floyd but Pacquiao and Cotto as well. Think about it, if Canelo was to fight either one of these two guys he would be getting his biggest paycheck EVER WITHOUT doing **** to earn it. Do you get pay raises at work without doing **** to earn it? Guerrero paid his dues vs Aydin (not saying that's enough) but he actually 'earned' his shot. Im with Bushbaby on this one, neither one of them are deserving of the fight but if anybody should get it between these two it should be Guerrero. Guerrero stepped up and said fk it, Ill fight this guy. He took the risk that comes with earning a shot at the top guys.

I'm starting to think no matter how much we discuss this matter we're just not gonna see it the same way. You're right in your own way and Im right in my own way as well.

If Canelo loses to both Cotto and Floyd then what for him? Keep fighting guys 2 weight divisions below him till another super star comes along to put him in there with? GBP is doing ZERO to make this kid better in order for him to be able to beat Floyd or Cotto. If you ask me, they're doing his career more damage than good. Sure he's gonna be getting money but years down the line what are people gonna say about this kid? "He was a fkin joke." To be the best (which he claims he wants to be) you gotta fight and beat the best. Unfortunately, he's not doing so. I liked the guy but GBP ruined it for him, I can't no longer stand by him and defend him. But Im just 1 mere fan anyway.

Oh yeah? Then how come Martinez is rated highly by the majority of the boxing public? Are they all Martinez fanboys? Does he even have a huge following? Once you do the work and get legit wins, people have no choice but to take you seriously whether they like you or not.

Hey in retrospect me you and Bush are saying the same thing almost. I'm just focusing on the outcome and you guys are focusing on the larger picture.

If you look at it from a boxing perspective, Guerrero did more to get the fight. From a business perspectiove, Canelo generates more and floyd's gotta move units.

I always appreciate a debate without all the BS.

There is a big difference in how they promote them. They protect ginger, they gave the Ghost a dangerous fight after a long layoff in a new weight class.
Cant disagree at all. Canelo is being groomed, Guerrero is being promoted.

to this point, I'd say so.

don't be so foolish to think its about Canelo being Mexican dude.
