This right here. Stick to training, sparring, you know...fight related things. Maybe get a segment on their str coach to see what their main focus is, nutritionist and see what kinds of foods they're eating and other stuff like that.

I don't want to see an entire episode dedicated to one fighter going to the mall with his boyfriend 50 Cent and buying $20,000 shoes for his gf.

barring dawson looking like a total zombie, i dont think weight will be an issue. dawson has said for a long time that he can fight at 168. he's got no bad habits and he's always in shape.

I'm not saying it will be an issue in the fight, I'm saying the victory won't be as great as it would have been if the fight had taken place at 175.

The casual fan needs someone to root for. None of these guys fight like Tyson, so what does showing some sparring or mitt work really do? Best thing is to get the emotional aspect involved. People love drama.

I was challenging the notion that a 24/7 series results in fighters becoming a household name. Cotto and Margarito had a 24/7.

Have you ever seen a 24/7 that mostly consisted of training and sparring? If we can get that, I guess that's fine, but that's not going to happen. We're going to be treated with Andre's Ward religious blabbing and Dawson's god knows what.

Btw during the Donaire-Mathebula fight they said it was gonna be one of those "Road To 24/7" things, if that makes a difference.
