Cotto said he wants to fight in December. IF Canelo wants a shot at the Kings he has to yield to the dates

He will fight the french dude for the 160 title and might go down to face Canelo @ 154 or if Martinez beats Chavez he will fight Martinez. I dont think he will face Chavez. He is too damn big for Cotto and will bully Cotto all night.
Cotto probably already has more money than he'll ever need. The rest is gravy...a lot of gravy. Whatever he wants to do now is just fine.

I would love to see "Maravilla"-Miguel. At this point I have to believe Martinez wins it. Cotto moving up to 160 is starting to push it. Still, I would expect a great fight.

Its the logical fight to make. Both have big followings and it would probably be a PPV hit.

That's who i'd like to see Canelo face next. Either that or Lara.

Cotto wants the title, even if it is a paper title, to be recognized as the only rican with title in four different division. Unless he beats Sergio no one will give him credit for it. It is the WBO, known for giving ricans free chances for easy title wins.

A win is a win, but haters will always be haters.

IF this fight were to happen it would be in Vegas. And, though many would differ, Canelo would make as much as Cotto even though Cotto has been around longer and is more established.

And that's a big why to both.
Why should somebody who's never headlined a PPV be paid more and why should it be in Vegas when Cotto can pack MSG?
He's sold over 3 million PPV's compared to Canelo's.... how many?

Vegas will get packed as well.
                  Vegas is where it's at.
Canelo brings in a lot of revenue as well.
Cotto is on the way out.
Canelo, whether we like it or not, is quickly becoming the face of boxing.
No one cares about the Euro dude Cotto wants to fight.

This is why I don't see this fight happening. Canelo knows he brings in A LOT. Cotto knows he is a proven PPV sell. Is what it is. I would be cool if it was in Vegas and they did Cotto 55% Canelo 45%.
Or 45/45 winner takes other 10%.

1.Cotto puts more than 22k people in MSG, how much did Canelo put in his fight with Gomez? When you find out, factor that they were showing the Mayweather fight afterwards and they had a freaking concert there
                    2. Compared to Cotto?
                    3. That's seriously one of your reasons?
                    4. Hahahaha, good old boxing. Becoming the face without having to do anything at all. Cotto has sold more, made more and proved he's a bigger money maker than Canelo.

                    Cotto 55%?
                    Are you kidding me?
He's the third largest PPV maker in boxing. I can see people arguing over Pac and May because they're the first and second.... but 45% to somebody who isn't even a proven seller yet?
Get out of here, if he makes half a million buys,if GBP is still ******ly chasing a PPV on Sept 15th,then they can talk 70-30.

Canelo is not a proven seller man. Dont try to make up things and number. In Mexico Canelo can sell but here in the states he has not proven anything. If he wants to build success in the States he needs to learn english as well if not, he is just going to be another hispanic fighter.
