FightHype had an article about it and I posted somewhere on these forums and sure enough couple of days later Mayorga comes out that he's gonna sign the fight with GBP.

Are you talking about the part where DLH said Canelo is better at 21 than DLH himself was lol? That's a straight lie.

Or are you talking about the part where immediately after saying Canelo should slow down regarding Mayweather, he says "we're ready to throw him in with everyone and fight everybody"?

Clearly these are some contradicting words in DLH's interview.

Which leads me to my next point. Everyone knows Schaefer makes all the business decisions at GBP. DLH is just the name behind the company. Kind of like how Lady Eloise was just the name of the business in the movie Boomerang, but the execs were the real owners who ran the business behind the scene.

My guess is that it's Mayweather.

It'd be "historic" because of the short time out of jail and then to fight in a couple of weeks. I'm sure Mayweather will also be getting out of jail on "good behavior" too, giving him a couple of more weeks.

Mayweather is a SMART business guy and he knows fighting Canelo on Sept 15th, on the same night Chavez-Martinez is happening, would not get him nearly as much as fighting him on Cinco de Mayo.

My guess about this whole "will be history" junk is that Oscar is full of **** just like Arum himself.

this will be so sad if this happens, might as well bring back Thomas Hearns or Ray Leonard and have them fight Canelo, to tell the truth that fight would be a more legit fight.
