So what's my agenda you little butthurt boy?
I already told you I prefer boxing over UFC, in fact any time there's boxing on the same night as UFC I'll watch boxing. (although the UFC event has tons of more viewers)
You're a typical butthurt wanker who got beat up by some fat kid who trains "MMA". That's why you're so angry. You're just gonna have to deal with it my friend.
Silva-Sonnen II vs Martinez-Chavez
we'll seeComment

Ok, maybe you're not smart enough to have an agenda. I know more about MMA then you, but that doesn't mean that I will spew some BS facts like you are in a vain attempt to convert boxing fans.So what's my agenda you little butthurt boy?

Sure sure, lets compare the UFC biggest PPV of the year with boxings 4th biggest of the year (fifth if Floyd fights again this year).
But MMA is growing at such a fast rate, taking over the world really derp derp derp...I heard that same **** now for 5 years and I was watching MMA before you ever started to jack off to TUF.
This is not 2007, nobody gives a **** about the UFC.Last edited by RSBonos; 07-02-2012, 06:22 PM.Comment

You can't even get your facts right about the UFC while pretending that you are some sort of expert on the subject.Comment

It must really suck for ZUFFA fanboys, 2012 and the Fox deal was suppose to usher in the mainstream era for the sport, instead all it did is expose the sport to be on decline and it made clear that it will never be bigger then a niche sport, just like boxing is today.
How does it feel? Years of hype, MMA will take over boxing, fastest growing sport, look out the NFL and soccer...oh noes, what happened...the UFC is just as relevant or irrelevant as a 'dead' sport...oh well.
We are going to look back 20 years from now, and the biggest star in MMA history will still be a WWE product.Comment

this is true, but it is also their achilles heel. How many times are people going to pay to watch a forrest griffin or a frank mir? Having multiple losses affects marketability, no doubt about that.Even DiBella touched on this. Too much emphasis is put on win/loss records in boxing. The UFC has fighters who have lots of losses in main events, why? Because they are characters, have charisma, or just flat out put on good fights even if they happen to lose, people want to see them again regardless of 10+ loss records. Today in age undefeated records mean diddly squat to me. A perfect example is Emmanuel Augustus. That man has insane losses and was still great to watch fight.Comment

UFC is nothing like a league. It's a sole franchise like the cowoys, lakers, WWE. It would be impossible for boxing to manage udner one franchise the whole worlds talent. You would be missing out on a lot.
One sanctioning body is all boxing needs. It's doesn't need to be ruled under a dictator. I think people are really overestimating the success of that.Comment
