Titles and Eliminators open doors! Russell turned down an ELIMINATOR and also a TITLEFIGHT! That means he does NOT think he is on that level yet, period. Not up for debate. His people even indicated that.

Well he does need better comp before going for titles, so hopefully that's the plan. But it's not Franco or Dib he's avoiding, it's obvious when you watch them fight. And what you're not seeing is that these opportunities are not at a premium for a guy with his talent and backing. Weren't you saying Andy Lee would be banished from the networks for passing on an undercard vs Quillin?

Yes he is avoiding them. Franco in less than 11 fights fought veteran Miranda and still fought well and owns wins over Gamboa in the AM's. Russell turned down Dibb to fight softies...that is pure avoiding.
