A few things in there I was unaware of.

But, I'm still lost on why he couldn't fight Khan and then leave.

Perhaps it wasn't a one more fight contract but surely they could have worked out a deal that lead to just having the Khan fight? After all, Bradley said July was the date. So what was he expecting?

Could he not have fought Khan and then signed with TR? Was this an impossible outcome or not? That's an honest question.

And as for the last part of your post. I've said this a million times. Not for a second do I think Bradley is afraid of Khan. I don't think Bradley is afraid of anyone.

I know that Bradley walked away from Khan in good intentions. He walked away because he wanted Pacquaio, everyone knows that.

My problem is, that fight wasn't guarnteed to him. And I simply don't consider that a justifiable reason to walk away from a big fight like that.

If Bradley was guaranteed Pacquaio, however. I'd be over the moon he walked away from Khan. But, he wasn't.
Your post has a lot of Bradley making provisions once again..

So if TR is offering him a better deal, let's say a chance he get's Pac or JMM(either a better opponent then Khan )he would have to hold up on that to fight Khan(who was not worth that much)??

Staying with Shaw was the biggest one of them all..It's also enough said on why Bradley would elect to move on...

So could Bradley not fight Khan in July sign with TR?

If you can show me that this is the case I will retract my statment that Bradley ducked Khan. Because if that is the case, I don't blame him for not fighting him if it completely stopped him from being able to sign with TR.

But, strangely, Bradley doesn't say that. All Bradley talks about on the situation is how losing to Khan would make him lose his chance at a Pacquaio fight.

Tim fought Peterson in December, then called Khan out.....Khan fought McCloskey in April...that's over 4 months. Last time I checked, most guys need no more than 8 weeks to get ready for a fight (2 months)....he fought a weak guy when all he had to do is wait like a month or two.....
Bradley's talk of a loss was more geared towards, ironically, a bad decision because Khan was the bigger name, the fight would have been on HBO...Khan is an HBO fighter, Bradley was coming from Showtime...he isn't afraid of Khan, that has to be obvious. Pac is by far the more dangerous opponent.

I see the business point of view of Bradley. Please show me where I have denied that.

Bradley signing with TR was a great business decision. I just wish he'd have fought Khan in July like planned before hand.
Who knows if he could have or if he could'int have..Point is why risk it on a guy who is not doing the same...

In plain view dude fought a guy with no shot to win(let's be honest)and sign a bunch of contracts..Then did not even want Bradley to do the same..He wanted him on his own date..Come on bro..You don't see how that's twisted for real..Or you just *****ing me..

            You're off with your dates.

Bradley fought Peterson in December of 2009. Khan fought McCloskey in April of 2011. You've missed out the year of 2010 there.

Bradley fought Alexander in January and Khan fought McCloskey in April and then they both could have fought in July of 2011, which was the plan.

            But, Bradley walked away.

Why risk it? Because it's a great stamp on your legacy that's why.

I think Khan just wanted the fight in July like planned after the McCloskey fight that Bradley was originally ok with.

I'll move on I give up..I also believe you have comprehension issues because in the same interview I heard Bradley state he did not want to be with Shaw and that being the biggest factor in why the Khan fight did not happen..But if all you took from it was Bradley was scared of the risk(while also not acknowledging Khan taking less risk by fighting Mccloskey and signing contracts)it's your right...

The only fact that matters is Bradley is more known being better promoted has a victory over Pac...His future is looking bright...Oh yea and Khan still is an option..Those are the facts that matter bro..Keep it lite ttyl..

Did he? I don't recall that. Not saying it didn't, I just don't recall it.

Could be my memory. Getting worse with old age.

In all honesty it didn't follow this fiasco all that closely.

I know Khan is still an option. Like I said, Bradley will fight Khan if the timing is right now he's got Pacquaio on his record (Officially)

If GB and TR can settle their differences, I'm certain that fight will happen.

Yeah, you're right about the dates, I was going off the top of my head. But even so, the end of January for the Bradley fight and the Khan fight takes place in the middle of April. So, that means the McCloskey fight was made in early to mid-February...to give Khan his 8 weeks.....or earlier, which means he agreed to fight McCloskey before Bradley even fought Alexander.

He still only had to wait a month or so for Bradley to be ready to fight again and escape his contract under Shaw. The fight could have been made in late May but Shaw wanted it in July so that he could trap Bradley in another 2 year contract.

Khan had a shot, he chose another path...it's easy to remember one line quoted by a guy when it benefits your cause.
