Hasn't Chambers been inactive for awhile now? Something you guys aren't putting much stock in. This could be an issue for Eddie. Adamek has remained active. I got Adamek by decision because of Eddie's inactivity.

Adamek 116-112. This is a fight that Eddie Chambers would've never lost pre Wlad demolition.

Chambers is the faster fighter, better defense and, possibly, overall skill, but Adamek 1) isn't too far behind in those departments and 2) his mental strength advantage and experience can overcome those advantages. Adamek wins an 8-4 type of decision...

People are vastly overrating Chambers here. Eddie's best performance was his win over one-dimensional heart deficient Alexander Dimitrenko. Since then, he was KO'd by Wladimir Klitschko and fought (I'm told) a less-than-spirited UD over tough journeyman Derick Rossy. It's worth noting that earlier in his career Chambers blew out Rossy in 7 rounds of sharp punching and out boxing.

Also, Chambers has been out of the ring for over a year and has been plagued with injuries off and on during the stretch.

As for Adamek, he's a cagey fighter who puts in a good work rate, can box well, throws good combinations and who is always in good shape. His defense is solid but he lacks hw power. He's also been hurt on various occasions during his hw run but has shown he can recover and survive.

I predict that Adamek will outwork, outpunch and outlast Chambers enroute to close 12 round decision.

Heads up, I think this is a ten rounder. I'm siding with Adamek because Chambers has been out too long and his fight with Rossy was less than inspiring from his last one.
