Chambers looked pretty lean at the weigh-in. It's going to be a close one.

Rootin for Fast Eddie but I think this is a 50/50 fight. IMO one of the best heavyweight match ups for a while.

That statement truly sums up the state of boxing today and everything that is so utterly ****e about it. Two top ten contenders facing each other and it's considered one of the best match ups that can be made.....

What has happened to this once great sport?

Two top ten contenders facing each other is meant to be a completely normal occurrence for these guys, yet today it's considered some amazing match up.

The days of the best fighting the best, and all the contenders fighting each other to become the best as the norm have truly gone for good.

Oh well, hopefully it is a good fight. We need every good fight we can get these days. Fighters pulling out constantly, saying they deserve more money and recognition despite being young, unproven prospects in small fights, fighters coming up positive for steroids, fighters pulling out with injuries....all multiple times just in the last couple of months.

I get tired of people complaining how bad the division is.

Those days haven't truly gone, we have a day like this today, it's just not as common or regular as it was in the past but it still happens. We've got Chavez Jr vs Lee, Khan vs Garcia on the way which are great match ups. just had Froch vs Bute, Kessler vs Green, Klitschko vs Chisora, Bailey vs Jones. They were all good match ups and good fights.

If you're just talking about HW division then I guess theres not enough prolific talent there at the moment to make regular match ups between top contenders, but that's just a phase while the talent pool is being regenerated and a swell of top contenders emerge. It's happening already with Chisora, Price, Mitchell, Wilder to name a few. Lots of fights to look forward to down the line.

I think Chambers wins this, him showing up at a career low indicates that he should have speed and stamina to keep up his workrate, Adamek showing up at a career high on the other hand should mean he won't be as quick which might take away whatever power he has at heavyweight considering as a heavyweight he relies more on his speed to generate power more than anything else. I think Chambers beats Adamek to the punch all night and wins a comfortable decision.

Adamek is going to make fast Eddie feel his power early on. Chambers loses a decision most likely but I can see a late stoppage/KO in rounds 10-12
