That was Eddie's fight to lose. He was clearly the more skilled boxer and landed some great clean shots but his workrate was dismal and he goofed off too much during the rounds. He has no one to blame but himself, he should've been on the gas pedal more than he was....

The 116-112 scorecards were fine. Obviously that one scorecard, the 119-109 was too wide, but it didn't affect the outcome of the fight.
I don't really care about the 116-112 cards, they're plausible and I could agree with them if I needed to make a case for it.
Who cares if the one judge didn't affect the outcome of the fight.
The point is he had a terrible terrible card.
People want bad judging in boxing to get fixed, but hey... if it didn't affect the outcome of the fight, then who cares right?
WTF? That makes no sense! What if one judge scored it 120-108 for Chambers..... would people not care since it wouldn't affect the outcome of the fight?
Why do we have to wait for two judges to make bad decisions before anything is done?

Had a busy weekend and finally got around to watching this one.

I had Chambers winning, but I am fine with the decision. Chambers was clearly the more skilled fighter, but he got injured and was coming in off a long layoff. He took the first four rounds, but wasn't able to keep his workrate up enough and Tomasz kept throwing punches. Adamek came in and fought a solid fight, but he'd better stay away from those slick guys.

I'd really like to see a rematch, but otherwise here are the possible fights i'd like to see out of these guys this year...

        Adamek-Seth Mitchell
        Adamek-Arreola II
        Adamek-Povetkin
        Adamek-Travis Walker
        Chambers-Kevin Johnson
        Chambers-Helenius
        Chambers-Wach

I'd also love to see Adamek or Chambers go down to 200lbs and fight Marco Huck. The winner of Cameron-Barrett would be fine by me as well.

No one is complaining about the outcome of the fight, they are complaining about the bad judging. A UD in favour of Adamek with 115-113 scores wouldn't have been complained about by anyone.

One judge's scoring was so outrageous that anything less than a long term suspension of him will leave boxing with zero credibility. The other two were on the very edge of plausibility, as the scores you quote above prove, and when two judges are both on the very edge of plausibility in favour of the same fighter, that smells a little.

Three out of the four scores you quote above were very close, which proves that it was a close fight, which is not remotely reflected in the official scores. Because of that, if Chambers had fought better and as a result had clearly won, rather than being in a close fight (as might well have happened if his hand hadn't been injured), he probably would still not have got the decision from those judges. That is why in terms of boxing's future, disciplinary action needs to be taken for the sake of the credibility of the sport.

If boxing has no credibility as a sport it will become like wrestling - show business only, not a sport.
