3 of which, he was an underdog in.

Who has a better resume than that at 168 as it stands?
He lost to Dirrell but won but his resume is impressive and he earned my respect

i'd say you can pick from the tier just below what i think should be a hall of famer

vic darchinyan (little men can be a bit hard to rate. he was a monster before nonito donaire)
        diego corrales
        fernando vargas
        vernon forrest
        ike quartey
        glen johnson

very good fighters but not hall of famers. not bad company, but not what i think should be hall of fame

froch is a bit different because he's still in his prime, but in my opinion his resume should not get one into the hall of fame

taylor was clearly past his best days
        fighting at SMW

        abraham is a horrible fighter

        johnson is badly faded

pascal fights in spots and isn't very special when he's actually throwing.

        he lost to kessler

lost to, and got completely taken part by andre ward

and i thought he lost to andre dirrell, but that was a close (and horrible) fight so i wont call it a robbery

        hall of fame?
        right.

his best wins are lucian bute and jermain flippin taylor

No, not at this point anyways. Who knows how his career will finish though? He's always facing the best possible competition out there though, guy is fearless. If he wins the Kessler rematch that would be awesome.

That's pretty good company, but hardly any of those guys had a streak similar to Froch's. Some fought top comp with spottier results. I don't know the odds, but he was probably the underdog for more than half of his last 8, and not one fight was a gimme.

There's probably loads of "3 time world champs" these days, but very few did it the legit way.

maybe the UK HOF... I would put froch in the HOF before Calzaghe tho

A couple more wins and he is there. Perhaps rematch and beat Kessler and a couple more solid Super Middleweights or move up to capture another championship belt and he will be in.

Right now, I think Froch has the best resume of all time at 168. That could literally change within a year.

I think it will end up being Ward. But right now, it's probably Froch.
How the hell does froch have the best resume at 168 when Ward beat him decisively and outclassed the other guy who beat him. Thats impossible.

Froch put up a great performance tonight.

But if hes a hof is Eubank? Is Benn? Ward has to be. As I said before the 168 tourney has overrated its participants. Jist because we got a bunch of guys in a tourney and a couple stood out doesn't mean they are hall of famers.

i agree that froch fought the best. very few can boast that.
                      his resume tells no lies.

he fought the very best. who didnt he fight?

but those guys that he beat are not great or near great when he fought them

froch has gone through a gauntlet and he's still standing
for that he's going to get a ton of credit. a ton. again, who does that these days?

                      but the hall of fame?
                      canastota NY?
