Because they're new to boxing and see Team Pac as the 'good guys' like some WWE garbage. They think Arum is this caring paternal figure. Just read the fighthype comments, they're talking about Oscar, May, and Cotto betraying Bob and taking care of the elderly in Philippines. It is a cultural thing obviously, the idea of Arum being a snake who would be as likely to have you killed as he would give you a hug. Arum being a bad exploitative guy is incomprehensible to them because he is associated with pac. This doesn't apply to all if them, the smart ones all think Arum is a snake too

I never said it would. Floyd is playing hardball because manny refused the dec 09 deal. Manny says, hey I'm down with that deal now. floyd says, fcku you, I told you its a one time offer.

SO if you want to criticize floyd for playing hardball as a promoter I have no problem with that. But bob/manny are playing hardball too. If its ok for one, its ok for both.


SO lets eliminate the feelings and run the numbers.

I have criticized floyd for the no ppv offer just as everone else has. I just remind all of you that pac turned down the deal he now wants. SO i'll post my feelings clearly so yhere is no missunderstanding.

Manny doesn't deserve the dec 2009 deal. Period. 50/50 was offered in exchange for random OST. SInce all of floyd's opponents have taken OST without taking more than they are worth, manny should do the same. He lost out on this deal when he refused.

Manny has earned far more than 40% no ppv. Period. That was a crap offer and he should've turned it down. Floyd can get away with this with other people, but not Manny. he should give manny what he is worth and make the fight, even if it means 45-48%.

I didn't know the fight was happening before that deal was offered, it really didn't seem like anything was on the verge of happening. How can one kill something that isn't alive in the first place~

Ive said run the numbers for months now. People don't want that because they want floyd to get less than he is worth becaue of how they feel about him.
