At most, I guess Mayweather can demand a 52/48 ppv split. But, Pacquiao still does better than Mayweather at the gate AND foreign tv sales. So I still don't see how Floyd can expect Pacquiao to be happy with less than 50/50.
roids ppv are 60 and floyd's is 70.. floyd generates more revenue.. period. the ppv numbers dont mean ****.. it's the revenue that matters.

This is why everyone (except Mayweather and his fans) believe 50/50 is still the fair deal. The sports media world wants the megafight to happen just as much as the fans. So if Floyd really deserved more than 50/50, every sports writer would be bashing Pacquiao and imploring him to take less based on the numbers. But, they're not writing that. Even African-American journalists believe Pacquiao deserves 50/50.

And the results of Pacquiao-Bradley won't change their minds either.
some people think it should be 50/50, 52/48 or 55/45.

people just want to see the fight happen, they could care less about the split as long its reasonbale.

Does that justify Floyd keeping the entire PPV revenue if he fought (that's a big IF) Manny? It's the revenue that matters alright. That money train will crash after the Pacquiao wrench comes into play.

People who are actually trying to conjure up some kind of reasoning out of thin air about PBF deserving more than 50-50 have no intentions of seeing this fight. At all.

Both fighters are the two biggest names in boxing. Their drawing powers are comparable. One does not outsell the other by a huge margin, even if some people tend to believe otherwise.

50-50 split is the most reasonable option. 55-45 with the winner getting 55 is fine by me as well.

After considering the names on this card I thought it would do a little more, but not much more. Maybe 1.7ish considering Canelo's already big following.

So this should translate to being the bigger Draw, No?. Cant talk from both sides of your mouth.
Pac is the bigger draw of course. If you go by head counting of how many people watching Pacquiao fights vs Floyd fights not just the ppv buys. Pac will leave Floyd in a dust. It won't take a genius to figure that out. Floyd has a slight higher audience in US than Pac because he is an American but how about around the world like in Asia? Just imagine if you go by head count. Its not even debatable at all.
