Saturday's bout is a hit because of a very very good triple header let's not forget the fact it was Cinco de Mayo too. This isn't about Mayweather, we all know Canelo could fill the staple center by himself, Canelo also holds the no.1 non-ppv HBO boxing after dark.

Canelo on Cinco de Mayo against a future HOF has to account for 10 to 15% of buys... Great marketing trick... Mayweather nor Cotto is Mexican but they fought on Cinco de Mayo with Canelo on the undercard against Mosley and Flohos want to act like the numbers are all Mayweathers... Forget Cotto is #3 PPV draw, forget Canelo vs. Mosley on Cinco de Mayo... Those guys accounted for 0 buys.... It was all Mayweather a defensive fighter with no KO appeal... What a joke.....

At no point did I say that those guys didn't add 2 the ppv, they did add 2 the ppv and when u consider the canelo/Mosley fight only cost 1.85million 2 make n they don't get any ppv money it's a clever thing 2 do. My point was people on this website seem 2 wanna discredit everything mayweather does, with this fight his last 4 fights have all done over 1million buys n I believe that's the first time that has been done. I said before and I will say it now mayweather/pac has become so popular there fights will more than likely do over 1million buys regardless of who they fight.

Pacquiao stans, deal with it. Your guy will always be a #2 (P4P, PPV, gate grosses). There's nothing wrong with that. It's just that someone is always doing better.

Pacquiao-Marquez III did 1.45 million ppv buys. Mayweather-Cotto does 1.5 million. I still don't see how Mayweather can demand the lionshare against Pacquiao. 50/50 is still a fair deal.

At most, I guess Mayweather can demand a 52/48 ppv split. But, Pacquiao still does better than Mayweather at the gate AND foreign tv sales. So I still don't see how Floyd can expect Pacquiao to be happy with less than 50/50.

Never said he wasn't a bigger draw, even stated that his consistency number wise since the Oscar fight is a testament to that. Was only saying that Oscar deserves some credit for generating that many buys and gate revenue.
