Pacquiao-Marquez III did 1.45 million ppv buys. Mayweather-Cotto does 1.5 million. I still don't see how Mayweather can demand the lionshare against Pacquiao. 50/50 is still a fair deal.

At most, I guess Mayweather can demand a 52/48 ppv split. But, Pacquiao still does better than Mayweather at the gate AND foreign tv sales. So I still don't see how Floyd can expect Pacquiao to be happy with less than 50/50.

take both pac and floyd's numbers AFTER THE OSCAR FIGHT they are very comparable.

IMO 2.5 - 3 million PPV buys.

Pacquiao stans, deal with it. Your guy will always be a #2 (P4P, PPV, gate grosses). There's nothing wrong with that. It's just that someone is always doing better.

I was just replying to the guy. also if Pac was close in comparison, then Pac would have record breaking number for a PPV but he doesn't because Floyd has 1 and 2. Both with common opponents Pac fought before and after. I know for sure that Bradley/Pac won't get near to 1.5 Million.

Their ppv numbers are similar in comparison (except against De La Hoya over 5 years ago). Even if 52/48 split in favor of Mayweather was a fair deal solely based on PPV, Pacquiao still outperforms Mayweather at the gate and in foreign television revenue.

This is why everyone (except Mayweather and his fans) believe 50/50 is still the fair deal. The sports media world wants the megafight to happen just as much as the fans. So if Floyd really deserved more than 50/50, every sports writer would be bashing Pacquiao and imploring him to take less based on the numbers. But, they're not writing that. Even African-American journalists believe Pacquiao deserves 50/50.

And the results of Pacquiao-Bradley won't change their minds either.
