cotto put on a great perfomance and landed some punches I didnt think he could, hats off to him! Floyd is still at the top of his game he put on a great performance too but I think the extra weight slowed him down a tad bit but he weathered the storm like a true champion!

I wish I was able to copy my previous post about this fight. Everyone thought that Cotto didn't have a chance and I kept pointing out that he is a much better fighter at 154 and allowed to hydrate. Also, the training he did for the fight gave him really good stamina. Floyd did a great job showing his heart, & Cotto showed that while confident, he is still the best at 154 (not counting Floyd).

yo every time i read your post you saying the same $hhit!! whats up with that?? haven't you had enough tonight?

Cotto didn't have the trainer he has or the weight, so you have to factor that into the equation when comparing what Pac did to Cotto at 145 and what Cotto can do at 154. ALSO you have to remember that Pac didn't want to fight Cotto again at his comfortable weight of 154, so comparing Pac and Floyd fighting Cotto is null and void. Cotto was Pac's first choice and turned him down because of weight. Can't down Floyd's performance/win on Cotto and compare it to Manny's.
LOL, talk about revisionist history. Cotto had never even fought at 154 when he fought Pac. All his fights before Pac where 147 and below. He came in at 146 for his fight with Clottey which was 5 months before the Pac fight and was a 147 limit fight. So did Clottey weight drain Miguel too? There was a 1lb difference between his weight for the Clottey and the limit for the Pac fight, 1 ****ing pound!

Floyd said that he was 147 tonight, Miguel probably hydrated to about 162, so Miguel probably had about 15 pounds on him. If Floyd was able to get his 8 oz gloves, Miguel would have been out of there. Miguel was staggered at various times of the fight, not just the 12th. Those 10oz pillows are a *****.
