5 years ago Cotto was winning but getting hurt in alot of those wins. his defense was crap.

Floyd could have and should forced the stoppage in the 12th.

It's annoying. I remember watching Ray, Halger, Hearns, Duran, Pernell, and many others, and I don't remember people being this ****** about the sport. Of course, the internet wasn't that big back then when I was younger and growing up.

You're not as bright as you think. New age boxing fan moron, exactly what is wrong with this site.
Again, why waste your time with certified trolls that don't even like boxing?

cotto put on a great perfomance and landed some punches I didnt think he could, hats off to him! Floyd is still at the top of his game he put on a great performance too but I think the extra weight slowed him down a tad bit but he weathered the storm like a true champion!

Then again, Miguel has some weight and strength on him. When they were boxing in the middle of the ring, Floyd made it look so easy most of the time.
Ditto. Some of his fans on here seems to think that it's a brilliant tactic at this particular point in Floyd's career, but i think he's very vulnerable to get hit more when he lays on the ropes. He showed his age against Cotto, and the lesser he use lateral movement, the more he will get hit.

Yea, he totally avoided that question. That was weak on Floyd's part.

All Cotto did was land the jab every now and then, and work the body a bit with Floyd on the ropes.

Floyd won a wide comfortable UD.
Exactly. Although Cotto dished up some good body work & boxed nicely in round 6 forcing Floyd into the unnatural pursuers role & getting tagged in that round. Miguel payed for delivering his body work by getting smacked strongly with uppercuts, straight rights & right hooks.

hate and don't like are not the same thing. I work with people that dog me out because I watch boxing but they always go to fight parties for the big fights. I work with guys that don't watch or talk sports at all until the big events. Finals, Superbowl, National Championship etc. I ask them y that is they say the don't really care for the sport but the like the events. When the big dogs fight its an event. Events bring out so called boxing fans that couldn't name 4 weight classes if it could win them a million dollars.
