yes styles make fights and pac is all wrong for floyd.

Floyd's weakness has been the straight left. he got touched up by judah, corley, and now cotto with straight lefts. That's Pac's best punch.

Also floyd now has a very high propensity of lyiing in the ropes. ADVANTAGE PACQUIAO.

add those up, floyd's reluctance to fight pac is vindicated.

" i dont want floyd fighting southpaws"

    -floyd's dad.
points to ponder on, especially from a dad who says he loves his son.

Yup it's like a pound of ****e and they make a big fuzz about when true boxing fans know Cotto is more of a welterweight.

          1. Cotto had one hell of a trainer for this fight with Floyd which he didn't with Pac.

          2. The fight was at 154 with Cotto being stronger then he was with Pac at 145.

          3. We don't know how Manny would do against this Cotto because he won't fight him at 154.

I'm happy for Cotto. Even though he lost he still won for putting up a great fight.
Agreed. Cotto should hold his head up high. He has fought EVERYONE in his time and given it his all. That's why he's a HOF and was bested last night by an ATG.

          No shame in it.

Gotta give Cotto credit, Cotto fought a Spirited Fight but was clearly outboxed and beat! People expect PERFECTION from MM, but MM won and that what great Champoind do.

i give Cotto a lot of credit for the way he fought last night. He really proved me wrong about how this fight was a mismatch. Now the question is is Floyd really all that good? He looked suspect last night even though he fought hard enough to win at the end.
