it helps a lot...canelo will bring in a lot of buys and everybody knows that but all credit will go to floyd...u want to know how much canelo helps? lets wait and see when he headlines his own ppv after this fight,he already has a high ratings on hbo against a nobody, not many will bring in fifty thousand against a nobody like oscar did in texas once and that was b4 the internet is what it is today and all the publicity and 24/7 otherwise he could have done even more,,,canelo will help a lot but all credit goes to floyd, just watch canelos rating in future fights and future ppv numbers i really believe he will be the new ppv king,im not talking about skills here so nobody say he sucks, just about him sellingSo Gamboa having a HBO contract means nothing to you.
Sorry but Mexicans are not carrying the sport of boxing. There are many fans all over.
So you going to say that Bute fan base in Canada is carried by Mexican boxing fans?
Mexico has great boxing heritage and has always been a super power in the sport in all aspects. You are being a little bit ignorant in your post. Canelo is huge in Mexico and in the east coast but Floyd is famous world wide.
Floyd took Laila Ali's road to the common boxing fan in showing up in popular commercials and it that Dancing With The Stars that has a huge rating, Floyd also was in the WCW or WWF (what ever its called) and got more exposure. Alongside being undefeated and a crap talker he is very popular.
Your dance partner in fight night has a lot to do how much you sell but to say that the sales are riding on Canelo is not accurate. It will impact cause he is on the card against another popular fighter but the mass amount of buys it is going to generate is not going to be cause of CaneloComment

If Rios came in overweight. He wasnt sure about that and wasnt there rumblings that TR was forcing him to sign another extension to get the fight similar to what they tried to do to JCC jr. If this is true im glad he didnt sign to sell his soul to TR. And also he says he never signed on for this fight so why is it his faultComment

I agree that it helps and he is going to be more marketable in the future if he continues to win, plus he has an exciting style cause he has a lot of flaws.it helps a lot...canelo will bring in a lot of buys and everybody knows that but all credit will go to floyd...u want to know how much canelo helps? lets wait and see when he headlines his own ppv after this fight,he already has a high ratings on hbo against a nobody, not many will bring in fifty thousand against a nobody like oscar did in texas once and that was b4 the internet is what it is today and all the publicity and 24/7 otherwise he could have done even more,,,canelo will help a lot but all credit goes to floyd, just watch canelos rating in future fights and future ppv numbers i really believe he will be the new ppv king,im not talking about skills here so nobody say he sucks, just about him selling
He is getting on these big platforms for exposure, but right now him against Mosley headlining a PPV by themselves won't bring that much buys. It might give extra incentive to buy the card but it is not the main reason are going to buy the fightComment
