Freddie Roach is an Overrated Trainer, I agree with Floyd Sr.

They can't fight on the inside or close the distance by cutting off the ring properly against a moving target combined with their lack of defense.

Roach was big before Pac, he was already training Toney and worked with DLH before Pac blew up. He would still be a big name without Pac, because he was a big name before Pac. Roach deserves his paydays from the Pac bouts if Pac is also handing out checks to guys like Koncz who do **** all.

To me it has nothing to do with the work of that big time guy because a trainer is important and whatever their method it obviously meshes with that big time guy now anybody might be able to do a good job with that guy but would they do as good, hard to say.

Still people always expect that trainer to be able to work miracles and do the same thing with other guys. Even if the guys are nothing like the guy he became known for.

There is no suchthing as a perfect trainer in relation to every guy out there, but for a specific guy I do believe there is a perfect trainer for every guy (as long as the guy is willing to buy in).

Yeah the big time trainers get overbooked and they dont have the time to devote to all of their fighters so Roach and Steward end up training a lot of guys for a fight or two until the fighter realizes they arent high on their priority list and leaves. A lot of guys stuck with the same trainer nearly their whole career and did very well. Calzaghe, Winky, Floyd, Hatton, Vitali ect.

Roach is overrated if u ask me but he is still one helluva trainer, as for Mayweather Snr i think he is beyond wank as a trainer - did u guys See Hatton vs Pac 24/7????

I dont think he's up to snuff. Roger is good but i think Freddie is better, i mean Floyd is - apart from a Special Talent naturally, a really self driven athlete who dictates everything that goes on in his world and fight camp, seems like Uncle Roger just helps out...

I like the look of Cotto's new guy Diaz but its early days yet...

Garcia, again overrated IMO. Though he has a lot going for him too

Richardson i rate, he knows his boxing.

Steward seems like he is not really in it quite the same anymore and is no task master.

Nacho, i rate him highly as a trainer.

That and the Paulie M fight. The Paulie M fight, Hatton boxed very well and outboxed Paulie rather than outwrestling him which was impressive. The Pac fight he didnt do anything he was supposed to such as "moving his damn head". He would have had the same end result of both fights if he stayed with Billy Graham though he would have wrestled Paulie M into a decision instead.

Funny was that Billy Graham said hatton was not being himself and stopped talking to him completely after he fired him and that something was up and then we find out later he was a suicidal coke head, so Grahams instincts were right all along.
