I could see it, if Berto was sensational against Ortiz in the rematch and KO'd him or won a wide UD whupping Ortiz. It'd be a legit fight then, and Bertto would be the best WW after Floyd and Manny. I don't how the PPV would do though.

Martinez won't be ready by then so I say go with Canelo. Then Martinez, then Pac, then Pac again, then Khan.

If Berto beats Ortiz they would have a rubber match IMO. And still Ive never seen 2 Al Haymon fighters fight each other but you never know

Martinez. Period. Pac fight isn't happening and if it did, manny gets dominated.

If Khan beats Peterson then beats maybe the Ortiz/Berto winner why shouldn't he get a shot?

I have wanted to see Mayweather evicerate Khan just because I want to see that happen.

Do I need a reason beyond that?

If Peterson dominates Khan I think he deserves a shot at Mayweather

Floyd fighting in December isn't guaranteed at all. The fight could seem a little rushed, being that Floyd's next opponent will probably fight around September-ish. The Martinez vs Chavez/Lee fight, Canelo vs Kirkland(Probably), and the Ortiz vs Berto 2 winner will probably all be fighting around September or so, and the winners of those fights all seem to be Floyd's most likely opponents. However if Floyd really does want to ever fight Martinez, the most opportunistic chance to do it would be in December, 3 months post Martinez's Chavez/Lee fight, so who knows.
