Who should Floyd fight in Late 2012???

If Floyd beats Cotto, who do you want him to fight after that???

He has said he intends to fight once more in 2012, seeing as he gets out of jail in Late July/Early August, plenty of time to have a fight in December. If he does this, who should he fight???

We can already cross off Sergio Martinez and Manny Pacquiao most likely. As Sergio is fighting Lee/Chavez and fights only every 5-7 months, so he won't fight again until March-June most likely. As for Pacquiao, Schaerfer and Arum both said that fight probably won't happen until 2013, and it seems like the general concensus that Pac will fight either Rios or Marquez, depending on who wins that fight in July, if they fight. Pac will probably announce his opponent for November in July or August, so it's a bit unrealistic for fans to think Mayweather and Pacquiao are going to fight in 2012.

With that said, who do you want Floyd to fight in December 2012, if he indeed comes back to fight in December???

Personally, I'd rather not see the Khan fight until Khan beats a Top ranked WW, someone like the Berto-Ortiz II or something. So, the ones that make sense for December are either Berto, if he beats Ortiz in June, or Alvarez, if he beats a Top SWW in September (Cotto-Molina-Lara-Kirkland).
    27
Saul Alvarez (if Alvarez beats a Top ranked SWW in Sept. first)
    70.37%
    19
Amir Khan (if he beats Lamont Peterson)
    22.22%
    6
Andre Berto (if he beats Victor Ortiz in June)
    7.41%
    2

    The poll is expired.

Martinez (and maybe Canelo) then retire and attend ******** Anonymous. Not much more big fights left.

If he's not going to fight either Martinez or Pac, then I don't care who he fights, it's not worth my time.

I just don't see how he can fight them in December, with Sergio fighting in September and only fighting every 5-7 months. And with Pac fighting in November most likely against Marquez or Rios. How is that possible???

              Manny Pacquiao.

              Seems unlikely though.

F**k that. Why do people think Canelo is just going to beat Mosley and then sit for 6-7 months. He's active and this 6 months between Cintron and Mosley is the longest he's been inactive his whole career. He's going to fight again in September, Golden Boy already is saying he will. They need to match him with a Cotto, Lara, Kirkland, Molina in September, or a Floyd fight is pointless.

He won't, you can count on that. He'll fight again in September, hopefully against a Top SWW, and if he doesn't, than Floyd beating him means NOTHING.
