You can't give someone full credit if they sucker punched somebody. No matter what led him to do it. Thts just honesty.

I don't like the way the fight ended but of course I give him credit. He dominated Ortiz in all 4 rounds. Vic's eyes were already puffy.

Everybody over looks that Victor tried to sucker punch Floyd after head butting him. If you look carefully. Right after Ortiz busted Floyd's lip with his head, Ortiz tried to fallow up with a punch while Floyd was complaining about the head butt. That was a failed sucker punch. At the moment it was a street fight and Floyd schooled Victoria there too!!!!
The reason why Victor headbutted floyd was because he was getting hit with that elbow all night!! did you not see his eye? he got hit 16 times with that elbow..he was wrong by stooping down to floyds level ill give you that..

Both Ortiz and Floyd are crybabies. Floyd will forever have a KO credited to him against Ortiz in the record books so yes he does have full credit for beating Ortiz regardless of how cheap it was.

Don't mean no direspect tours you. Your a boxing fan so your on my side of the fence, but regarding Ortiz come on dude. Ortiz was using his head all night. Ortiz was being outclassed and was on his way of getting stoped. Ortiz had no answer and was getting schooled. Ortiz was fustrated and resorted into playing dirtying to try and level the playing field his way and was schooled there also. Floyd was fantastic that night, and Ortiz forfeited the fight with the successful head butt he was trying to land all night. Ortiz was in over his head. The young dude was just outclassed. Floyd gets full credit for beating a young primed bigger dude in two fashions. Out boxing him and out hustling him. This is the pain business not figure skating.

Floyd was on his way to a dominating win i think but imo no it isnt a legit ko even though technically its considered that.

Protect yourself at all time is the number one cardinal rule of boxing. When its time in, there is no such thing as a sucker punch.

                  Credit for taking the fight

                  Partial credit for the W

I hate fights that end in a manner that is so blatantly dirty. But hey, both played the dirty game, Floyd is just better at it.

With that being said, I'll be disappointed if a few low blows, elbows and/or bodyslams don't take place on May 5th

i dont know what to think
Blame Ortiz for taking the fight in that direction with his disrepectful and dangerous flying headbutt..

Taken in context...it was not a suckerpunch...it was treating trash like trash should be treated..

That's why the pros say Floyd was in the right...Ortiz BROKE THE CODE...

What Ortiz did was blatantly dirtier...

He was trying to wound Mayweather....he could have done extensive damage...which was his ADMITTED intent..

Floyd didn't make the fight dirty........Victor did...

Ortiz got exactly what he deserved...even fighters that don't like Floyd sided with him..

When a guy is trying to hurt you..all bets are off...sportsmanship is out the window..
