corrie sanders was the most mismanaged boxer of my time. when in shape he had the fastest hands, 1 punch knock out power & he was a southpaw. he is also 6'4 with a long reach.he also could take a big punch. he only moonlighted as a boxer & was more into celebrity golf & running his big game farm in south africa. his biggest issues were dedication & a lack of stamina. if you could take his best shots early then you could tire him out by the mid rounds & stop him because he was so exhausted. his destruction of wladimir & his fight with rahman are 2 of the most memorable fights i ever saw. he didn't have many big moments but those 2 are the biggest in the HW division since the 2000Comment

There is a video of it somewhere on YouTube, the guy got bit on his left and and got a 4" puncture wound to his abdomen from the tigers claw. That'd make you **** your pants!Comment

David Tua has to be right up there as far as mismanaged too. He wasted a lot of his career with managerial problems.corrie sanders was the most mismanaged boxer of my time. when in shape he had the fastest hands, 1 punch knock out power & he was a southpaw. he is also 6'4 with a long reach.he also could take a big punch. he only moonlighted as a boxer & was more into celebrity golf & running his big game farm in south africa. his biggest issues were dedication & a lack of stamina. if you could take his best shots early then you could tire him out by the mid rounds & stop him because he was so exhausted. his destruction of wladimir & his fight with rahman are 2 of the most memorable fights i ever saw. he didn't have many big moments but those 2 are the biggest in the HW division since the 2000Comment

where Shavers at? Chose Foreman though. Most naturally strong HW to date, **** you can't get from weights.Comment

were talking raw power too. Some guys got accuracy and timing that gives them a lot of knockouts. Give Foreman the ability to set someone up and he'd KO them twice as fast. He knocked guys out via beat down. Anyone who staggers George Chuvalo like he did has some serious firepower.Comment

Can you imagine Foreman with Joe Louis' timing and distance? He wouldn't have been knocking guys out, he would have been putting them in the morgue. Sonny Liston once commented about Foreman when he was still in his teens, he said "This kid doesn't just have one punch knock out power, he has one punch kill you power."were talking raw power too. Some guys got accuracy and timing that gives them a lot of knockouts. Give Foreman the ability to set someone up and he'd KO them twice as fast. He knocked guys out via beat down. Not so long ago there was an article here about Manny Steward saying Wlad is bigger puncher than Lennox. My pick is either younger Klitschko or Foreman but I think i'll go with Wlad because of the size of Foreman's era heavyweights but that's just meComment

I already stated 4 guys that Wlad knocked out with one punch just in this title reign alone. I think that's quite good enough. Those fighters were often a lot bigger than the fighter Louis fought as well. (not saying Louis didn't hit hard at all, as he's on my list as well)I've seen Wlad land the right flush many, many times and the results are more often than not exactly as I said...he wears opponents down. His left takes out more guys than his right. If I wrong you should be able to come up with a highlight reel video of Wlad putting fighters to sleep the way lets say Joe Louis did. I'll wait.Comment

Reasonable post but that doesn't mean anyone hits harder than the other. It's interpretation, which was my point unless it's actually scientifically measured. (hence, the Rocky 4 reference) If Wlad landed his shot as flush as Lennox did against Rahman, the same result would have occured. Let's not forget that the Rahman knocked Lewis out and even if he was slightly faded, he never had a second of competitiveness vs Wlad. That Rahman had only lost once in the last 4 years prior and was 35 so it wasn't as if he was completely washed up. Would Lewis say he hit the hardest?foreman was 48 & mercer was 41...lennox dropped briggs 5 times in his prime & mercer had the best chin in the division for years. mercer said right after the fight when asked if wlad was the hardest puncher he ever faced. mercer quickly said he's got power but im 41 years old & he can take what he wants out of this fight but lennox lewis was the hardest puncher i ever faced. i do not agree with you on this one...can't forget wlad took 7 round to beat botha & he kept coming while lewis destroyed botha in 2...howabout wlad fighting rahman. rahman was out of shape & wlad didn' knock him out cold while lennox knocked rahman out cold in prime shape. the best ko by wlad 7th rd vs brock. lennox ko'd rud****, botha, rahman, grant with devasting shots. as for briggs saying vitali hit harder that is pride & accumulation of punches...wlad is up there but i think he is behind guys like lennox & foreman. rahman has been in with most of the big hitters & he said corrie sanders was the biggest puncher he ever faced. rahman has been ko'd by 1 punch cleanly by lennox & maskaev.Comment
