That's a negative ghost rider. They might serve the same purpose but ARE NOT the same thing.
Why ask for 8 oz gloves for a 154 lbs fight?

I agree, he is in human, if I didn't know he was such a god fearing guy I might actually think he was on something^ This
Plus did you not see the size difference and even tho he was taunting and seemingly taking the punches with ease did you not see what they were doing to his head and body?
Idk what's up with all the sarcasm on this thread and people failing to comprehend but Im out, I got the answers I was looking for.

Pac, instead of abiding by the commissions rules, decided to wear 8oz gloves against Margarito in there junior middleweight fight. The reason for this is clear, Pac wearing the gloves that are to be required, would slow down the pace of his punches. Which would also have less of an impact upon Margarito - there's a reason why 10oz gloves are called pillows.
The same reason could be applied to why Mayweather wants to use 8oz gloves against Cotto, to retain his speed and for his punches to have more effect.
In both instances, Pac and Mayweather are doing the same thing.

Mosley was deemed as fast as Mayweather and stronger than him before their fight. Mayweather could have demanded 10oz gloves for their fight, but didn't. So this throws your accusation out of the window about Mayweather demanding 10oz gloves for Pac because if that were true he would have done the same for Mosley, a just as strong and fast puncher. Also, Mosley had no leg to stand on at the negotiation table against Mayweather.
Your thread is a sack of **** to be honest.Last edited by Discipline; 04-09-2012, 04:20 PM.Comment

Because Freddie's statement was alleged, (which doesn't make it true). He was clearly talking out of his bumhole. You've whiffed it up and taken it as true.
No one from the Mayweather team has supported this statement from Freddie. Only you!
Floyd has never had any difficulty negotiating with his opponents. Yet Pacquaio has. First with De La Hoya (about glove size), Hatton (money), Cotto (Weight / Belt), JMM (drug testing - http://www.examiner.com/headlines-in...-from-pacquiao) and Mosely (drug testing).
Why would Mayweather make negotations any more difficult? When it's Pac who's always been the difficult partner in making fights happen.Comment

Great post! Couldn't have put it better myselfPac, instead of abiding by the commissions rules, decided to wear 8oz gloves against Margarito in there junior welterweight fight.
