Why ask for 8 oz gloves for a 154 lbs fight?

he is slow been told that the glove size was agreed on for the fight and that Floyd fought harder punchers then Pacquiao never demanded the 10oz so logic would say those rumors are false but what do expect from a Pactard. Are you slow? Floyd agreed to 8 oz gloves for the fight against Pacquaio! That is well-documented. Floyd used 8 oz for the Mosley fight. Floyd used 8 oz for the Ortiz fight. Do you NOT see a pattern here? What is your obsession with this anyway? What is the point? Because there is no point since Floyd and Pacquaio agreed to using 8 oz.
these morons even going on about how unhuman it was for Pacquiao to take a shot Margarito punches at catchweight

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!
To summarize:
After seeing what Pac did to Hatton and Cotto, Floyd wanted to lessen the effects of Pac's punching power, thus the 10 oz gloves. In the case of Cotto, Floyd knows that Cotto cuts easily. His strategy seems to be to win by stoppage due to cuts. In addition, Cotto tends to be less aggressive when cut.
In both cases, Floyd's objective is self preservation and he will do whatever he can to assure that.Comment

After seeing what Mosley did to Margarito, Floyd wanted to lessen the effects of Mosley's punching power, thus the 8 oz gloves... Oh wait... 8oz gloves. Something's not quite right here. I thought he wanted to lessen the effects. He should have used 10 oz gloves, if he wanted to lessen the effects.WE HAVE A WINNER!!!

Once again proving my point that the allegations you heard about Floyd wanting 10 oz gloves against Pac are simply untrue.Last edited by Discipline; 04-09-2012, 04:48 PM.Comment

The fact that they agreed to 8 oz is beside the point. It does not answer the question why he wanted the fight at 154 and with 10 oz gloves in the first place and yet he now wants something different against Cotto.Comment
