Well no **** Margarito was down on the scorecards in PR, so was Salido vs Lopez. Even then he was down by one round or two in Santos' hometown. There goes your "couldn't compete" bullshit.

Hell!! Even Letterman had Margarito winning. He's a Margarito fan boy I take it? You know it as well as I do you did not watch the fight.
Whatever the case is, Margarito is a bum. He had issues with Daniel Santos at 154, so I believe Oscar at 154 would have nailed him by KO. Even Oscar after Sturm was better than Margarito.
And you were right about the head butts. My bad.

Harold Letterman? That dude can't score a fight to save his life. I saw the fight and Margarito was not winning but we can agree to disagree because at the end of the day. Santos got the win and was rocking Margarito. I watched the fight again and Margarito put up an effort can't front on that.

Margarito was beating Santos and got the wrong end of a poor decision. And its a shame Oscar wasn't as confident as you seeing as he ducked him shamelessly in 08

Oscar wanted Floyd but Floyd turned down the rematch. Then he wanted Cotto if he beat Margarito but then he went for Pacquiao. I think with Oscar it was a money decision. Margarito has never been as good as Oscar. Except when he drained himself for Pac. Margarito was bringing it to Santos but you have to admit that Santos was ****ing and wobbling Margarito. Fight was heating up but then the head butt happened.
