Pressure is Mayweather's weakness. If Cotto can let his hands go and sustain pressure, penetrate his defence and land some of his heavy shots, he could knock him out. There's no way he's going to outbox him that's for sure, his strategy has to be pressure. If you watch any of Mayweather's fights, he's most vulnerable when his opponent is letting his hands go while pushing him back. Even with Ortiz, you will see that he started landing on that last round with the pressure he was bringing.

Ortiz did land when he pressured Floyd. Were they all clean hits? No but there were enough to get Floyd's respect.

LOL. Floyd did not respect Ortiz because of his "pressure" and by missing so many shots. Floyd was being Floyd -- defending himself rather than trading shots. And how many of those shots even landed? Floyd outlanded Ortiz by a wide wide margin.

Floyd looked decent , he did not dominate Ortiz .. Ortiz is mentally weak and Floyd knew that , that's why he chose him .. Floyd knows what he is doing when he cherry picks ... He was forced into the Cotto fight because he promised the judge a big money fight wit PAC on may 5th that fell thru and the next biggest draw was Cotto who he ducked for years .. dare I say Cotto has a better jab than Floyd .. Floyds weakness's is a good jab and pressure .. Both thing Cotto does well .. If Cotto puts the pressure on him , watch out .. It's gonna be a long long night for mayweather .. and floyd always goes to the ropes in his fights--he utilizes the ropes to his advantage--sits down on them to move away from punches and uses them to help set up his counters--smarten up folks--ortiz didn't land on floyd in the 4th round near the end--floyd made him miss bad--no different than what oscar did--making it look good for the crowd but missing--if ortiz was landing like you think, he wouldn't had to jump into floyd's face to bust him up---ortiz landed that once grazing punch while floyd was backing up after flody hit him with an uppercut and that's all he landed--big whuff---floyd landed at will and rocked ortizx at the start of the round---easy fight for floyd--

cotto is another easy 1 for him as well as wacquiao---you'll see once again--
