He's ALWAYS rocked or wobble or out .

/inb4 He recovered from an Angulo KD.
Kirkand has KO'd bigger stronger guys in Angulo, Vera and Julio.

Canelo has KO'd many smaller guys.

So you assume that Kirkland hits harder. Than you see that Canelo hasn't faced any game punchers. Cintron was done and more of WW anyway.

When you use "logic" you can see a fight in which both men go down. Canelo is there to be hit and when Kirkland hits someone clean they usually feel it.

Kirkland was never "out" he tried to get up but Cortez held him down.

Great fight. But how is this going to happen on Mexican Independence Weekend, when Chavez-Sergio is suppose to be on HBO PPV that week??? I see this fight happening a week earlier.

If Canelo can beat a Top SWW (Cotto-Lara-Kirkland-Molina) and do so cinvincingly, I have no problem with him facing Floyd.

Kirkland-Canelo is still a 50/50 fight to me. Kirkland had a busted shoulder going into the Molina fight and got held 118 times, and still almost had Molina out of there in the 10th, had it not been for the constant holding and Kirkland tripping over Molina.

I just don't get how the dates are going to work out.

If Canelo can beat Kirkland convincingly, and knock him out, I'll be a believer that Canelo has what it takes. He has to beat a Top SWW though, Cotto-Lara-Molina-Kirkland. If he does that in September, I have no problem with Floyd-Canelo in a unification in December. Especially since Sergio is fighting Julio in September and Pac will fight Rios/JMM in November.

Canelo really has to prove himself in September though.

I don't look at who they KO'ed. I look at how hard they hit. I also dunno why y'all keep bringing up an Angulo KO when the man was gassed from that 2nd round on (or whatever round it was) and it still took Kirkland THAT LONG to take Angulo out. I guess if you wanna look at who they KO'ed you should also look at who they been KOed and dropped or hurt by and that's not a very good look for Kirkland.

Neither one of these guys have very good D but Canelo has the better footwork and overrall skills. Kirkland is 1 dimensional. I give the edge to the more skilled fighter in this match but of course 1 punch can change everything.

Thats why you put this fight on HBO Championship Boxing for free. Nobody thinks Chavez Jr. is the future of boxing in Mexico. Canelo is the future so you put him on and then you **** all over Chavez Jrs PPV numbers. The Golden Boy pimp hand is strong.

LOL at these characters in this thread.

Joel Julio, Angulo and the Brian Vera that stopped Andy Lee all hit harder than Ishida.

Heck, I'll even say that Molina hits harder than Ishida.

If people don't see inconsistentcies in taking shots from Julio, Angulo, Vera (TKO'd Lee) and Molina, but not Ishida then maybe you shouldn't follow the fight game.

Canelo's been hurt by Cotto's brother.

Using the "Ishida" logic from this thread, Kirkland should finish the deal in the 1st round against Canelo.

Lol at all the boxing math here.

Did anyone ever see how Joel Julio knocked the poop out K-9?

Using these boxingsceners great "Ishida" logic here, Julio should've knocked the poop out of Kirkland in the first 30 seconds of the fight and it should've been done.

I guess Ishida hits harder than Julio now.

I've never seen someone cling to one loss like it was going out of style in my life.

I guess I should start talking about Pac's two KO losses. I guess he can't take punches either and should've been KO'd against Cotto, DLH and Hatton?

You guy here are something else lol

would be a hell of a fight, and I think Canelo stops Kirkland in mid rounds.
Canelo has faster hands and Kirkland is hittable
