I know Canelo was stunned once before when he was a teenager fighting a grown man, but has he ever been down? I know he hasn't been fighting the toughest competition, but I don't get why people say his chin sucks. We really don't know if Canelo has a chin or not. Him getting stunned at a lower weight class when he was 19 isn't really a good indication of whether or not he has a chin at 154. I remember De La Hoya was knocked down a couple times when he was fighting at lightweight and he ended up having an ATG chin when he moved up to 147-154.

I'm not saying Canelo has a great chin. I'm just trying to say that Canelo's chin is a huge question mark right now. We really don't know if he has a bad chin.

Same can't be said for Kirkland though.

          Definitely flash knockdowns...

Canelo will have this guy wheeled out of there on a stretcher .

That would be an all out war. Great fight that I think Canelo takes and he stops Kirkland by round 10. Canelo is the next big boy on the scene, the next star in the making.

If Canelo can beat Kirkland do so convincingly, without holding 118 times, a fight with Floyd becomes legitimate for December no doubt.

But, there will be a lot of people eating their words if Kirkland can beat Canelo.
