Mayweather's style is beginning to reflect his age. I'm not sure if you can tell how much of his legs Mayweather has lost. Maybe someone should find out. He certainly isn't in a hurry to use them anymore. This isn't really a commentary on the Cotto fight though as much as it is where Floyd is at in his career.
    Yeah, I do agree.

This is basically just the same disagreement with had with the Ortiz fight.

Both of us agree that one of these Mayweather will go in there with someone and show a clear level of decline. That happens to every fighter.

But I don't think Cotto is that guy, nor did I think Ortiz was.

I guess we'll wait and see, again

People are really ignorant. Cotto has two kids by blood. That is his wife's sons from another guy. Little boy.

Cotto beats Floyd. Floyd doesn't have the same running ability as before. Cotto has the great jab and stalking ability. It's science. Cotto is going to set up combos. Exchanges of multiple punches guarantee Cotto finds his target in some and he is proven to be durable. Floyd can't keep Cotto off of him and he will be surprised by Cotto's athleticism and movement, same way Shane was. Floyd is about to go to jail. He'll lose this one, probably blame it on that and come out training hard for a revitalization. Cotto also has his passion/confidence back and a demanding, very knowledgeable trainer. It's not an easy task. It is Cotto's toughest. But he's the man to do it. In the right state of mind and health, with a trainer who can maximize his potential, Cotto is not losing to Floyd or Manny. 154 is his home. May 5th that 0 will go.

I thought he was 75 or was it 137? lol

Great movie though, wished they had put the entire boxing scene in the movie!

Watch again. First he says Joe Louis is 75, then 76 then he says Frank Sinatra personally told him that Louis is 137 .

It's funny.....just because Floyd got that "Knockout" against Ortiz, people now think that Floyd is this devastating killer, somehow forgetting about Floyd's reputation as a potshotting, win on points, defensive master prior to that fight.

If Floyd couldn't KO JMM, what makes people think he is going to move up in weight and KO Cotto who would have lasted against Pac, even though beaten to a pulp, if not for the ref. Cotto only got stopped against a big pressure fighter who cheated with plaster in his gloves for crying out loud.

Floyd is NOT A BIG GUY, Floyd IS NOT A PRESSURE FIGHTER, and I highly doubt Floyd would be packing plaster in his gloves. He might elbow you in the face, punch you on the break, and sucker punch you but I don't peg him for a "cheater" in the sense that he would juice up or pack his gloves.

Will Floyd win? Probably, likely but certainly not a foregone conclusion....how many times have we seen some guy that was a huge favorite, think that they are so much better than the opposition that they underestimate them and pay the consequences for it?

Too many people are thinking that Floyd is Baldomir or something, Cotto isn't Baldomir, Hatton or Gatti (rip).

Man this article had nothing to do with ****** it has everything to do with boxing, so if you need to talk ***** go to some ***** forum !

The thing that adds to the hope is Cotto's trainer. He is known to deal with counter punchers. That is the only thing that helps me think that Cotto can do something for a few rounds.

Jr will never fight a threat, and talking soft to Cotto is a show of confidence he will walk over Cotto.

Cotto has quit, said he would quit, I don't think Jr can make someone quit, but I think Jr has this in the bag.

I don't know if I will buy the fight or not, what are supposed to see ??

                Two killings ??

like Canelo will whup the old man and Jr will whup the washed up fighter ???

I hope not, hope they will be good fights.

I know.. thats what makes it a classic! It perfectly displays how fans with agendas switch it up... Barbershops like that back then where essentially what boxing websites are today!
