Floyd Mayweather wants Miguel Cotto to come forward and brawl. Would make his life easier and he likely wins via stoppage. And it's a good bet to happen because Cotto isn't one to back down from trench warfare. But if Cotto decides to box and use his still youthful legs, he can and will give Floyd problems.

That's exactly what I'm thinking is going to happen. People think Cotto is this come forward slugger but he can box when he needs to and rack up points. I see no chance in him KO'ing Floyd and fighting for points is Cotto's best option.

I agree. Floyd tried his hardest to mask his fear in the face off but failed to do so even then. He looked like he was trembling at one point and he couldn't sit still and stare into the eyes of a cherry pick gone wrong.

I think thats very perceptive, to beat Floyd you either have to catch him and hurt him, which means being able to take lots of clean shots in the process or you have fight in a manner he isnt used to which means boxing and using footwork to make him the aggressor once in a while. When Floyd comes forward he has a tendency to shuffle in dragging the back foot, he doesn't know how to stalk and Ive rarely seen him use angles to corner off an opponent. Wouldn't surprise me to see Cotto mix it up a bit like this.

Some of you guys are comical, this is easy. What we are going to see is the same old floyd taking his time and picking his shots for 12 rds, it's simple. Floyd will look to use his quickness an catch Cotto with a big counter shot early which will cause Cotto to think before he just rushes in like he thinks he can, after that Floyd is gonna use his longer arms feint jab and Box Cotto's ears off to another UD and another 20+ million in the bank easy work for Floyd...

If FLoyd is smart he will come into this fight at around 148 and be as quick and fast as possible. I dont think he will do that, in fact it seems he is trying to stand toe to toe more often now for whatever reason and this could cost him this go round. Same deal if he ever fights pac, he better train for speed other wise you try to rumble with pac you lose.
