It was quite clear after the 1st fight that Marquez had solved his style and would always give him hell of a fight no matter what but he went on to fight him 2 more times despite being a much bigger draw than him.

Pacquiao gets hated a lot because Arum has given him undesirable fights but he deserves credit for taking on his biggest rival 3 times despite always being at a technical disadvantage.

A lot of big stars have gone through their careers without giving someone who they beat in a close fight a rematch e.g De La Hoya with Whitaker, Quartey, Sturm.

No its deserved in the sense that Marquez is beating him!!! Thats the problem. Look at how people didnt want him to face Cotto again @ a catchweight... He straight whooped Cotto at a catchweight...

This time he made MARQUEZ COME UP AND Marquez still gave him the business. Remember the new and improved PAC was supposed to destroy Marquez.... But that didnt happen. It was a robbery. While fans are saying this and that, 90% of the pro boxers asked have all stated Marquez won!!! Now there is literally a thread today with RIOS saying Marquez beat pac!! Another professional....

So the basis is this. He fought him x3 times because people dont think he won!!!

No one is asking Marquez to try and get a rematch with Floyd, and Marquez isnt trying it either!!!! And then low and behold x2 years after Floyd schools Marquez and sets records on his ass, Pacquiao gets whooped on again by MARQUEZ!!

But remember, Pac did duck Marquez and Berto two years ago because they were "small ppv attractions" and he cherrypicked Mosley and Margarita!, then Arum had Marquez on a year and a half lay off, aging! Marquez then fought 1 round in a fixed fight, then aged more as the promotion went on! Just sitting inactive! Even tho Marquez won, I still think that it was wrong how they put that fight together!

I think when his fans go overboard to justify his poor performance, that makes people be more critical as well. No real reason IMO for the 3rd fight other than manny domination. He failed to do that.
