Yes. The only guy people could argue that's better than Cotto in Floyd's resume is an over the hill Oscar and IMO Cotto would have beaten that version of DLH that was a shell of himself.

^^ My homey hooks checking everyone here who doesnt know **** about boxing. Cotto fought Pac, floyd is not even the 5th best fighter Cotto has fought. But for Floydina Joyce this post-plaster assault, post-Pac destruction version of Cotto is by far the toughest and best fighter floyd has ever fought. Since Castillo beat him.

In a absolute sense, or a P4P sense? It's always weird making comparisions between fighters seperated by multiple divisions, especially in a physical sense and not a skill-set sense. But I certainly think that Oscar, Ortiz, and Mosley are harder hitters than Cotto.

P4P sense, Corrales might actually be the hardest puncher Floyd has ever faced.

Prime Diego Corrales and Jose Luis Castillo were better than Miguel Cotto is now. So was 154 pound Oscar de la Hoya.

Mayweather on the other hand is the best opponent Cotto has ever faced. I base this on the fact that Pacquiao had 3 very close fights with JMM, who couldn't do anything against Floyd and got blown out.

I was going to include Oscar in this. I would have picked the Oscar that Floyd fought over Cotto IMO

                    Absolutely not.

Cotto is not the best fighter Mayweather will have faced, nor close.

Mayweather might be the best fighter Cotto will have faced, though.

                    Between him and Pacquaio, obviously.
