I'm oging to say that Mayweather will obvi be the best most skilled fighter that Miguel has ever faced.
And Miguel will be the toughest/hardest hitting fighter Mayweather has ever faced.

Even though this fight shouldve been done a long time ago, better late than never i guess and I cant wait for 5/5/12

Corrales at 130 was a much harder puncher, as was Oscar at 154, Ortiz at 47 and Mosley. Cotto can hit but he ain't anywhere near the hardest hitting fighter Floyd has faced.

Even if Cotto wasn't shot, he still wouldn't be Floyd's best opponent

Cotto isn't "shot". Mosley, Castillo, Margarito, Jones, they are "shot"/"done".

Most of the cats on Boxingscene probably weren't watching boxing back when Floyd fought Corrales, to know how big that fight was going in, and that tons of people were saying Floyd was going to get killed by Corrales. Even though Floyd dominated Corrales, Diego wen't on to have more good wins on his career, most notably Freitas, Casamayor, and Castillo.

I'd say a past prime-still good Cotto is a one of the better fighters Floyd has faced, but I thought Corrales and Castillo were better when Floyd fought them. They were prime, Corrales was #5 P4P, and Castillo was coming off beating Stevie Johnston, was the lineal champ at 135 and is the best LW of his era. Those are Floyd's best fights going in.

I only see one 8 division world champion on that list and it belongs to Cotto even tho he got his ass kicked in that fight
