I've never seen a fighter beat people like Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Diego Corrales, Carlos Hernandez, Jesus Chavez, Jose Luis Castillo, Arturo Gatti, Zab Judah, Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosley, and Victor Ortiz get as much backlash and get s**t on as much as Floyd.

He still has a damn good resume, was a lineal champ in 3 weight classes, will end up having several HOF fighters on there eventually, 2x FOTY, and unbeaten.

He's still an ATG and a HOF fighter 100%.

Both were good wins. Genaro only beat Azumah Nelson, who was the man at 130 and is in the HOF prior to fighting Floyd......but lets act like Genaro Hernandez was a nobody.

i never once said genaro was a nobody ( even i said genaro was the better fighter overall)

but like i said, it's not who you fight, it's when you fought them and based on that, sasakul was the better fighter when pac fought him than when genaro fought floyd .

Again, FWIW Yuri Arbachakov was not a P4P fighter going into the Sasakul fight according to the Ring. To be fair not sure what source is being used here. Plus Yuri Arbachakov had over a year of inactivity going into the Sasakul bout.

Thank you Jro. This guy also said Floyd-Genaro wasn't a Lineal fight either, it was just a normal title fight.......

not on paper yuri ( the guy that sasakul beat prior to pac) was not in the p4p but he should've been. they ruled him out just based on inactivity. so in reality, he was still a p4p fighter .

even if u consider arbachakov that high, hernandez still looks more impressive in his wins leading up to the fight and he has the better resume.

the argument for pacs win isnt in sasakul's resume for me, its in the circumstances around which pac won.

Genaro had beat Nelson, Alexandrov, Gerena, and C. Hernandez prior to fighting Floyd. His only loss had come ears earlier aainst Oscar at 135. He was the reigning lineal champ at 130.

Sasakul was coming off wins over Arbachakov, who'd lost his #1 Flyweight ranking to Mark Johnson by the time 1997 rolled around. He was not in the top 10 P4P at the time, don't know where you saw that.

Both were good wins over probably the top guys in each weight class. I'll go with Genaro though.

Yea I touched that as well earlier. Chicanito became lineal when he beat "The Professor".

                      no

the only argument here is which win is better, not who has the better resume.

and it's not ho you fight , its when you fought them.

coz if we based everything on that logic, pac's win over hoya is better than floyd's win over corrales.

                      it's not who, it's when!
