      OHHHHH, there it is

Its impossible for you to put Floyd nuthugger Glasses on when you crazy glued Pacquiao nut ridding glasses on.

If Cotto can fight fighters like ricardo torres and others then he could have pursued a fight with Floyd.

Yeah the Cotto who struggled against a slow as a turtle moving under water was a real threat to Floyd (sarcasm) and a Cotto who barely got by Mosley(alot of people had it a draw).

And Floyd was talking about retirement" since after he beat Baldomir.

Stop trying to twist this ***** in your favor. You was one of those clowns that said Floyd ducked big bad Cotto. You can`t get out of this now with your B.S comments.

Funny how people here flatly refuse to eat their crow, they'll just pick at certain words to argue down.

Fact is, there's been at least one post a day since 07 saying Floyd ducked/was afraid of Cotto, or he retired when it was time to fight him, or any other nonsense along those lines.

As it turns out, Floyd wanted a Cotto fight as early as 2005, and Cotto was the one who never asked or cared to ask for Floyd. Not exactly a duck on Cotto's part, but a little disappointing. If the situation were reversed, no one would hesitate to call Floyd a duck.

This fight not happening then has Arum written all over it. Another one crossed off the list.

Anyone who followed these 2 know 2007-08 was probably the best time for these 2 to fight. I blamed Floyd for a long time but after seeing how Arum fuctioned throughout the years, I give him the majority of the blame.

              June 2007: Cotto Ko's Judah

June 2007: Cotto wasnt even considered according to Ellerbe. Apparently the Judah fight wasnt enough. Floyd will stay retired yet a few months later, took the Hatton fight who apparently had an much more impresive win over JLC.

2005? Did people really care about Floyd-Cotto in 2005? Its kinda like Floyd-Cotto 2012.

Floyd-Cotto 2008....that was the time to get it done.

                And Floyd retired.

Whether it was to avoid Cotto or anyone else, only he knows. It is what it is.

Floyd Put a lawsuit out on Arum in 2007 citing Arum owed him money from the Gatti fights and other fights and Arum put out a counter-suit.And when Floyd was asked on a ESPN interview in 2008 about fighting Cotto Floyd told Cotto get some big wins and leave your promoter and the fight can happen.

Floyd was not trying to deal with Bob Arum in 2008 who promoted Cotto,he was suing him and Arum had bad mouthed him in the press.Floyd has nothing to do with the fight not happening. Its all on Cotto and Arum.

"I never choose opponents. I never ask Bob (Arum). They always make the correct fights for me. I'm going to leave these things in their hands," Cotto said.

Before Floyd-Hatton, Top Rank was negotiating to make Cotto-Clottey. That was going to be the first fight for Cotto in 08. But, Cotto actually ended up fighting Alfonso Gomez

Floyd never in his life ducked Cotto. Did he retire when the division was hot. Sure he did. But, he didn't duck Cotto. Neither side pushed for the fight when it was the best time to make it.

                    That's not ducking.
