Solis needs to take his nutrition serious this time around. His talent alone will not get him far. Odlanier has to break the stereotypical notion that Cuban boxers get fat and undiciplined when comfortable due to the American Dream. He needs to lead by example @ heavy. Rid yourself of all enablers and hire a damn good nutritionist! Get and stay around -230 and la Sombra will become a solid force.

          A knockdown doesn't ensure a 10-8 round, and THAT is a fact.

It was at :15 into the video... Vitali threw a jab which CLEARLY missed after a hook that hit Solis and CLEARLY DID NOT HURT HIM. You can tell it did not hurt him, Solis stood his ground and that punch barely had any force behind it. He then tried to back up from the jab that missed over his guard. THAT'S when his knew blew out.
Some people can't deal with the truth of the matter. I know of one poster in this thread who's opinions are so warped by Klitschko idolatry he even claims the cuts Vitaly suffered against Lewis were from illegal elbows.

"The truth of the matter" is that Solis showed a good performance in the first round, but he didn't win it...he lost it 9-10 at best, and the fact that winning ONE round against a Klitschko (and he didn't even win it!) is seen as a remarkable performance just shows the dominance of the brothers. Tyson won the first round against Lewis, does that mean he won the fight?

It's probably useless here, these people can't even tell when a fighter is wobbled apparently. It was a slightly delayed reaction but he definitely started doing a goofy dance and injured himself. What these clowns don't realize is that Vitali's shot is what started that which means the result of the fight was correct, KO1. Anything to discredit Vitali is par for the course for these folks.

Can you show me a single post where I've ever said Solis won the fight? The fact is you can't. It was a legitimate tko, just like Byrds win over Vitaly. And the truth of the matter is just as jfsd26 pointed out in the video. Its actually very clear to see to open minded fans of the sport, unlike those who wear blinders for there favorite fighter.

What these clowns don't realize is that Byrd making Vitaly miss is what started the injury and the reason he quit, so the result of the fight was correct. Double standard much?

I don't think anyone here said Solis won the fight. I mean, who in the right mind would? The argument was that Solis won that round. I personally thought he did and y'all can say he didn't but I won't argue that. What I WILL argue however is that the injury was sure to a bs punch. Only people I see saying that Solis was hurt by that punch are Klitschko huggers.

Hell, after such a long layoff I was starting to lose interest in Solis but you guys are making me care again and be a fan.
