Floyd could have had a DQ loss to Judah?

He motioned them together but he never "said box" and he called for a clock stoppage and never call for time in. You can't hit someone until the ref call time in first, it doesn't matter if they "said box", which he didn't so your whole point is mootComment

I'm just gonna point something out that nobody else has yet: Molina's cornerman actually threw the ref off his count. He had to stop the count and get him out of the ring.
And Floyd melee happened during time out. It still could've been a DQ but it's not exactly the same.Comment

Then why did he get the W? Why is it not changed to NC?Comment

Which was my next question, if perhaps the time keeper failed at his/her job there. Appreciate the feedback. Hopefully Molina can get the decision over turned. He was not overzealous whatsoever. He did what he was suppose to do.
By the letter of the rule once the bell rings. The chief second has 1 full minute to help his fighter in any way including recovery.
The bell is not suppose to ring until the count is over. Once the bell rings the round is over the trainer can come in. As long as it is just one trainer. Now if it's more than 1 then that's different.
The Timekeeper and referee messed up the call last night.Comment

The rule states during(from bell to bell) the round the chief second can NOT go inside the ring. If he does the fighter surrenders the fight.
Once the bell rings the round is over. They have 1 full minute to get to work. Once the bell ring to start a new round the chief second needs to be out of the ring.
By the letter of the rule Molina trainer was in the right.
Now the timekeeper is the issue. No matter if the round is over. He can NOT ring the bell until the referee finished his count and the ref checks out the fighter to see if he could continue or not. Now it doesn't matter if it's the end of the round since you can't be save by the bell. If the ref feels you can't continue then it would TKO loss. That's not what happened here though.
Now the ref fault is that he didn't hear the bell or he heard it and just didn't know the rules.Comment
