that's what I'm saying whatever. The robbery happened it is what it is. I'm already over it. If people didn't like the fight or really are upset on how Molina fought. At the same time defend Hopkins or Ward then fine whatever it is what it is. I'm not going to argue that anymore. I guess it's just a preference thing.

Did you not see my post in the other thread, you've said this now for the umpteenth time. Yes, I have and THERE IS A DAMN DIFFERENCE. No.1 They don't do it that excessively, No.2 they actually FIGHT inside. If you, or any other boxing fan can't see the difference between how Molina fought TONIGHT, and how Hopkins and Ward fight, then I see no reason to continue this conversation. Mind you, Hopkins against Calzaghe WAS excessive, and didn't agree with it. But that was not even close to what Molina did tonight. Like I said, I used to like Molina, he's underrated. But, I've never seen him hold like this. HELL, I've never seen any fighter hold this much since Akinwande-Lennox Lewis. PERIOD.

Yea I agree with both 4corners and Jro. But I will say this. What Molina did was more excessive than anything I've ever seen. But so wat? The onus is in both Kirkland and his team and the ref to deal with that. Kirkland was lost for the first 9 rounds but he had a real chance, Molinas legs were gone and Kirkland was still very fresh being that he had just begun to work up a sweat. These two are at the top of the division for me. Both are true champs. I wanna see this fight again.

But with that said this ref and Texas in general should be banned from taking fights.

I don't know what it is. Won't accuse anyone of anything. I just know that...Which fight was it? Carl Daniels? Keith Holmes? Don't remember but Hopkins clinching was worse believe it or not than this. I have seen Ward do it just as bad as well.

I don't know, I don't care. It is what it is. I personally have no problem with this style of fighting. Don't have a problem when Hopkins does it, don't have a problem with Ward does it. If it's effective then so be it. it's a fight, do what you gotta do. Tell the opponent to do something about it.

Neither am I. I love Froch and Kats. I love Sillakh, yes he's mixed, but he's based out of the Ukraine, and love watching him fight. I'm not racist, nor do I favor a certain race. I'm not even a fan of Kirkland, I like watching him fight though and I was looking forward to this fight, like everyone else was. I was chronically disappointed with the way it went, and it ended, that IS all.

I don't see a difference at all. Hopkins had done it worse. To Hopkins credit in his high profile fights he doesn't do it as much. But, look at the Holmes fight. He would be clinching the whole fight. And, trap Holmes arm just like Molina and hit with the free hand. same thing, rinse, wash, and repeat.

If the ref was letting go(yes the ref was garbage) but if the ref was letting it go. It's on Kirkland to adjust and put a stop to it. You think Molina would have gotten away with that against Mayweather Jr? Hell no. Floyd would have stopped that crap early on and dominated the rest of the way. Kirkland had a bad gameplan, look lost, didn't know what to do. it's not on Molina to make Kirkland job easier. It's not on Molina to make sure the ref is doing his job. Molina job is to win. That's it.

Agreed. People are hating cause Molina isn't sliky smooth like BHop or Floyd.
