I won't accuse Tyman of that...He is a stand up dude. I think it has to do more with him being a Kirkland fan more than anything. Which is fine I can't blame him. I like Kirkland to. If I had any say in Boxingscene rankings or The Ring rankings I would have both fighters in the top 2. At worse have both in the top 5.

The ref might have ******(he did) but you can't let your opponent dictated the tempo nor can you let him impose his will and style on you. Kirkland let Molina do that...That's on Kirkland. I have no problem with the way Molina fought he did what he had to do.

I hate the stoppage. Because, it robbed not only Molina probably best win of his career but it also robbed Kirkland a possible dramatic come from behind stoppage but more importantly it robbed us from having a clear winner.

Thanks Jro. Also, I'm not a fanboy of Kirkland. Do I enjoy watching him fight? Of course. Am I apart of his "bandwagon" not much in the least. The reason why I was so frustrated with what happened was because I've been anticipating this bout for MONTHS, like many here have who have a bad taste in their mouth. Like you just said, the ending in and of itself ruined the fight, including the poor job done by the Ref before hand. Although it was technically by the rules by Schorle to rule a DQ, but the IRONY is that he wasn't enforcing any rules at all through the bout in the least, all the sudden he wants to then? WTF. THAT'S my point. This fight was beyond a disappointment and left a foul taste in my mouth.

I don't know how many times I have to say it but not only do Ward/Bhop not hold as much, they both actually FIGHT inside, they don't just randomly dart into their opponents hold them by their arms against the ropes with a ******ed smirk on their face, bouncing up and down slamming their heads into another guys face, LIKE Molina did. Molina thought it was funny that he was getting away with it. I don't blame Molina as much as I blame Schorle for letting it go on. Kirkland was even laughing, due to the shock that the ref absolutely was oblivious to what was going on.

Yes Hop and Ward clinch, but they usually immediately let you go and work you over on the inside. Molina did NOT do that, he held Kirkland's arms down, ****** his head against Kirkland, and while Kirkland was distracted would hit him on the break. If Molina applied the style he used against Cintron, I'd have a damn standing ovation for the cat, but the holding was SO bad it became the NUMBER one factor in how the fight was going to end.

People act liked Kirkland got outclassed yet, everytime the fight was in the center of the ring, Kirkland was finding the range for the straight left and uppercut consistently, and once a fight started to happen and Kirkland was hurting Molina and backing him up. and I got on the edge of my seat, BOOM! MR. HUGZZZ IZ GUNNA HUG YOOO JAMEZZZ LAWLZZZZ NOONE CAN SAAAAVVE YUUUUU JAMESS HOOHAHA. Lol, I mean really. that was the look Molina had on his face. Overall, I was just FURIOUS with the way this ended, which prevented Molina from POSSIBLY getting a win, OR Kirkland getting the very possible stoppage given Molina being hurt.

Neither am I. I love Froch and Kats. I love Sillakh, yes he's mixed, but he's based out of the Ukraine, and love watching him fight. I'm not racist, nor do I favor a certain race. I'm not even a fan of Kirkland, I like watching him fight though and I was looking forward to this fight, like everyone else was. I was chronically disappointed with the way it went, and it ended, that IS all.

I wasn't talking about you or Jro (aka Roman). But the people starting the Kirkland hate threads are pretty much only fans of Latino fighters and no one else, and than have the nerve to say I don't like the way Molina fought because he wasn't African American.....get the f**k outta here. I like plenty of Latino fighters, not just Black fighters.

Kirkland should have and could have just thrown Molina off of him like he did in the 10th and kicked Molina's a$$. Unfortunately, he didn't do that until the 10th.

Andre Ward does hold and clinch, but not that excessively. And he fights on the inside. He doesn't hold and grab your arm, punch, let go and punch, and than go back to holding again, over and over.

Molina was winning, but the ref f**ked up by not warning Molina early on about holding, hitting on the breaks the whole fight, and holding Kirklands entire right arm like half the time. And he f**ked up the DQ stoppage as well.

Hopefully they rematch and Kirkland goes all out like he did in the 10th. If he does that, I still beleive he can beat Molina. I don't see how anyone can really defend Molina's excessive holding, it was far worse than anything I've seen in a while. He made Alexander-Maidana look like nothing. In the 10th round, he held Kirkland 16 times, even attempting to hold on to the ropes for about 5 seconds, while Kirkland was all over him.

Can't knock Molina, he did what was working to win, regardless if it was a bulls**t tactic, he was winning. Had the fight gone the last two rounds, who knows??? Kirkland was still fresh, Molina looked a little out of it in the 10th. Do I know Kirkland would have KO'd Molina....No, but no one does. That's why they need to rematch.

I still don't think Canelo will fight Kirkland. The excuse will be that Kirkland struggled with Molina, he doesn't derserve a shot at Canelo, which is bulls**t because he's fighting Shane f**king Mosley next.

Kirkland and Molina should rematch. I found myself yelling the whole fight "Push that mother f**ker off of you and let your hands go", he did in the 10th, and I thought Kirkland made a case to win rounds 5-6. That's it though. Aside from those rounds, Molina clearly won the rest.

Carlos Molina was winning the fight confortably at that point, I had him up 88-83 going into the 10th round. I only saw Kirkland win 1-2 rounds at that point. James had the complete wrong fight in mind going in. Let your f**king hands go, and back his a$$ up. What Kirkland did in the 10th, which was effective pressure throwing tons of punches, and than when Molina tried to hold for the 1,000th time, throw him off of you and kick his a$$. I don't know what Kirkland was thinking for about 85% of that fight.

On the flip side, how in the world did Molina not get warned at all for holding??? He made Andre Ward and Devon Alexander, guys who are s**t on for holding, look like they never ever do it. I don't get how someone can completely grab ahold of the other guys right arm for like 5-10 seconds more than several times a round, let go and push him back, hit him and than hold again for like 5 seconds when the other guy starts to open up. I am the first guy to say holding is a part of boxing, especially when in trouble, but when it's happening literally around or over 20 times per round, it's beyond excessive. Kirkland had him really hurt in the 10th and was putting it on him, and Molina literally just held the entire time, and at one point in the round, just pushed Kirkland on the ropes while holding and was trying to hold on to the ropes. It was beyond excessive, and beyond normal holding that goes on in every fight.

Like I said, Carlos Molina was winning, I hope they rematch. I still have no doubt Kirkland can knock him out or beat him. He just has to full Mandingo on him and let his f**king hands go. And when he tries to do that hold your arm and push you back, let go and hit you, than hold again, do what you did in the 10th round there. Push his a$$ off you kick his a$$.

Bottom line, Molina was winning clearly and the ref's call was bogus to end the fight, as was him not warning Molina for some of the most excessive holding I've seen in a long time.
