No not at all. Why would I be afraid? I am just wondering why Chavez is an option when he would be just as heavy as some of the SMW's. So my question is: Is he avoiding fights cause of weight or skill?

By this logic, if Pacman can knock out cott at 147 he should be able to fight Martinez at 154.

If Cotto can knock out Mayorga at 154 he should be able to fight martinez at 160.

I gave Floyd a pass on a Martinez fight until now. Fighting for a belt at 154 for the second time? Then you can fight Sergio at the same weight. That's always been my stance, and if Pac ever fights above welterweight again it will be the same for him.

Floyd-Sergio is awesome, make it happen.

Chavez weighs in at 160lbs. If Ward or Bute or whoever you want to protect Floy....ooops I mean "fight Sergio", come down to 160, then you would have some kind of point here.

Because Chavez makes 160 and has a belt, whether it's with illegal substances or not he is making 160. Same reason you can't say "Pac fought Margarito, who weighed the same as Martinez on fight night, why can't he fight Sergio?" Um, because Sergio doesn't make 150 like Margarito did.

Floyd Sergio at 150 is a better fight than Sergio/Bute or Ward. At least Floyd is small so Martinez has some sort of chance to win.
