Klitschko took him out of that crawl in Lewis' last fight. He was chased out of boxing. There is loads of evidence to that.

He announced his retirement after dodging the bullet for nearly a year, on the very morning that he was to have been stripped for not fighting Klitschko.

A poor sport, jealous and envious of the Klitschkos' reputations. Maybe he should find another Klitschko future opponent that he can call up and tell how to beat the Klitschkos. He did that for every Klitschko opponent after he retired, he was so jealous. They all failed of course which made him feel worse. And he seems not to have got over it yet.
    Are you serious???

Someone got banned yesterday for calling someone else a moron.

Who are the Klits most notable victories then??

What does that say for the joke who got TK06'd by the joke??

If its nothing special than compare it to Vitaly's resume of stiffs in comparison. Add to that Lewis has actual wins over all time greats and your conclusion becomes very weak when comparing both.

The match was actually arranged to be on Dec. 6th and Lewis put Klitschko through the mill, insisting that he come to London so that Lewis's eye specialist examine his eye-presumably his eyebrow, which was already long healed. Has everyone forgotten this?? He still wouldn't make the fight, and Klitschko took on Kirk Johnson on that very Dec night and utterly mangled him in less than 2 rds.

Lewis grew even more cautious after this, and wouldn't make the fight at all. The WBC finally gave him until April to either fight or be stripped. Lewis waited until the VERY LAST DAY, and then retired.

I don't know what else to call it except a major duck. He managed to prolong the agony, and keep Klitschko away from his title for early a year, and got some small satisfaction from that. He's had no more ever since.

Lennox has the best encore performance of any boxer in history.

He basically beat the next best heavyweight of the future and then retired. That **** will never be topped in any sport.

Why post things you know are not true just because you want to support your favourite fighter? You know as well as anyone, that Klitschko had been the mandatory for a year and Lewis was avoiding him. Also that when Kirk Johnson cancelled only 10 days before their fight Lewis faced the loss of a fortune, and also agreed to fight Klitschko only because he was able to hold up the promoters for what was reported to be over $4 millions.

After his narrow escape due to the doctors's mistaken belief that Klitschko's eyelid nerve had been severed and he was effectively blind in that eye, {look up the doctor's explanation for the stoppage} he never wanted to face him again. He strung out the promised, and also WBC ordered return for nearly a year, making Klitscho jump through hoops to satisfy his ever-changing demands. And eventually retired the very day he was to have been stripped.

What can you call that but a blatant duck.He was offered over $20 millions

Contrary to all the comments on the division eing betterif the Klitschkos retired, this is not true. Just think for a moment. What would happen would be that the levels of the fighters would be just the same, but the march-ups would be more competitive. That's all.
