    hmm

When you beat someone who is a top tier guy (Tszyu, Hopkins, etc.) you should automatically be in the top 10 p4p. p4p is NOT about career accomplishments only. If you beat someone that isd badass and highly ranked, then you deserve to be hghly ranked. You don't have to beat all the top 10 guys in your division to be p4p top 10 if you already beat the best ****ing guy. To say otherwise is ******. Hatton deserves to be on the list, period.

Castillo one punch KO'd Corrales (never been done), beat Floyd once (we all know he was robbed) and beat Juan Lazcano and Juan Diaz (two top 5 lightweights). He's ON the list.

Toney has fought Oldyfield, Guinn, Booker, and Ruiz at heavyweight. He's not top 10 p4p until he has a sparkling performance vs a top guy there.

Rafael Marquez is unfairly overlooked by most because he's in a smaller weight class.

Tarver's wins over old Roy and old Johson do not match up with the opponents of Castillo, Hatton, Wright, etc.

    p4p candidates should include:

    Floyd
    Taylor
    Hatton
    Hopkins
    Castillo
    Wright
    Judah
    Marquez
    Barerra
    Pacquiao

Toney/Tarver/Corrales don't deserve to be ahead of these guys.

This is the problem with p4p... it's such a muddy issue. If it's (perceived, because I don't believe he's been tested since Castillo) talent-based, then yeah Floyd is up there. If it's what he's done in the sport, then he should be below Hatton, for where he is. The division Mayweather is/was in, Hatton's the No.1 ranked.

Hatton beat KT. Then defended his title, and partially unified. Yes, he should be on the top ten P4P.

          At ease, soldier!

He's right though... when Roy ****ed up that milkman back in '93 it automatically kept him in pole position.

I'm not buying Taylor in it.. an extremely controversial split decision win against the Slop where he was nearly out in the last rounds does not say to me "this guy is one of the ten best fighters on the planet right now".

              hmm

Floyd's number one and that's fair. His body of work is significantly better than Hatton's. But, that doesn't mean career acomps are the only thing to look at. Recent wins also, and because Hatton beat Zoo, he's in the top 10. But Floyd has beaten more top 10 p4p guys, and he beat them with more ease than hatton beat Zoo. Hatton is nipping on Floyd's heels. Hatton can maybe get up ahead of Floyd by beating Castillo, unless of course he just beats Floyd.

                  hmm

Toney doesn't deserve top 3. He has one significant win in the last 6-7 years (Jirov). Oldyfield wasn't a good win and his fight vs Ruiz was a NC. You cannot put someone top 3 p4p just based on how he's looked vs average guys when Toney doesn't have some kinda long term success sustained behind it. Toney is BELIEVED to be able to be a heavyweight champ, but he has to prove it. At absolute best, Toney should be near the bottom of the p4p list.

I dont think 1 win should put you on the top 10 list. Its like stealing what the other guy has done for years, something that maybe that guy wouldnt have done himself. **** p4p ranking their full of **** and to many holes in it. Take for instance Manny and Rafa Marquez, Rafa has been whipping out top contenders for years and Manny beats 1 guy and he is on most list higher than Rafa.

P4p he would beat most of the top ten on your list.
